My goal on this channel is to examine and document certain locations at this point in history, and hopefully, if RU-vid is still around in the future, it can look back and use my little movie catalog to study how it was at the beginning of the 21st century on those streets, in that neighborhood, in that city or town, in that village. What that building looks like, that hotel that train station...... What is the interior of that castle, that theater, that mall......
I’m no genius but it’s go to be on line shopping it’s far cheaper to buy than at a shop.. I’m from Tunstall and now live Stafford and it’s the same in Stafford shops closing everywhere , what will it be like in 20yrs when the kids of now are shopping maybe all town centres become housing and we all buy online..
It's not just happening in Stockport mate. This is happening in EVERY city and Town in the UK. Why? The Gov'T want to CONTROL us...And they can't do that if we are outside shopping in stores. It all has to be done ON-LINE. Controlled and Spied On. Social Credits are coming instead of CASH.. I for one will be glad when i am out of this madness. Beautiful buildings in your video.. used to have a great time in the boars head when it used to be open every day ,but here that it is only open now at weekends since withaspoons opened next door , i can remember when you could drive around all the streets ,but alot of them seem to be blocked off now.

What you have done is walk around all the town. Finding closed shops then editing to make it look like all shops are closed in one area In fact like most towns these empty shops are spread over a wide area
At this point around 30% of the town centre is closed shops. Some of the footage from this looks a little outdated (Connor Naismith’s office is still a betting shop for instance) but it still reflects the feeling you get from walking around the town. It’s disappointing at best
It ain't bad you only show the abandoned buildings lots of new ones and a brand new shopping area Don't exaggerate this Don't pick and show show the whole town centre it has gone downhill but let's not take the mick

I know its easier said than done but so many towns are like this now. Surely a plan to change them from old empty retail spaces to residential spaces would be a good option. They will never return to viable retail spaces.
