Classic song,so catchy. That is the best song off that Slash album. I was lucky enough to see Andrew Stockdale at a pub in Byron Bay just after that song was released and I approached him and asked him about it. He was so nice to me. I said "obviously you wrote that song" because it sounds so Wolfmother. But he said "Slash came in with that riff and then we wrote it together" which makes sense because I have never heard Andrew have such a busy riff like that in any Wolfmother song. I know Andrew has the skill to play riffs like that but that's not his style. Was a cool convo! Some guy who really wanted to meet him approached us and ended up buying Andrew, my friend and I beers even though I told the dude that I had only just met Andrew myself! Was a cool time
Few people can do it justice like Myles but this is on another level. Think I can spot you from Andrew's IG footage. Only one person in the front row with their phone sideways, lol. Awesome recording.
Sounded great! Love how Andrew remembered all the little intricacies! You can tell this song means something to him and he was really taking in the moment!
Andrew lives about an hour and 20 minutes drive from this venue. I assume he just drove up and made himself known. And the song went ahead. Crazy he still has all that range and power. It’s all there, and the pitch is so spot on.
