This video is a great example of a glottal stop "T" pronunciation which is common in many areas of the US but definitely not the majority. If you don't say your "T'"'s like that it's really noticeable. "Ti-En" vs. "Tigh-Ten"
The fill valve will not turn either counter clockwise or clockwise. Is there a lock mechanism that is stopping it from turning? Maybe I should get a different brand insteas
This is wrong. Puddy ddoes not belong on plasitc pipe. They suggest Silicon and she used no pipe tape which is suggested. Find a more professional video people
Replaced both the faucet and drain assembly. It was hard- really hard, but that was mainly because of the challenge due to extremely tight space under our bathroom sink! If there were no wall in the way like in the video, then no problem! The most difficult part was reinstalling the water supply and getting the connection tight enough so it didn't leak. This video left out the parts about muttering, cursing, sweating and scraped knuckles! I had to watch a different video for the drain assembly installation and follow the faucet kit directions for that.
My supply lines don’t connect to the faucet through such thick pipes. The supply lines are connected to very skinny pipes. And there aren’t any plastic nuts anchoring the faucet either. What do I do?
What if the stupid fucking plubers didn't use a swinging p-trap? It is all glued in place. Can't loosen the trap or swing it at all. So now I have to cut out the p-trap to put the necessary parts on to make it swing? Fucking idiots.
I saw a saw at the beginning of video that had me intimidated...!! 😱 Didn't see saw in video so now I'm more ambitious..!! 👨🏾🔧 Good 💩..!! Thanx..!! 👩🏻🔧👌🏾
FALSE INFORMATION!!! I CALL BS! GUYS BE CAREFUL. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN EASY DIY FAUCET REPLACEMENT. I BOUGHT THE PART AND USED TASK GRABIT ( online guys you hire per hour. Great site). TO PAY SOMEONE $100/HOUR TO REPLACE, ASSUMING IT WOULD TAKE AN HOUR ACCORDING TO THIS DIY VIDEO AND MANY OTHERS. TURNS OUT IT FAUCET REPLACEMENT IS SIMPLE BUT ITS NIOT THE PART. ITS ALWAYS THE JOB WORK INOLVED. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOUR HOUSE APARTMENT CONDO ETC IS OLD THERE COULD BE SOME MAJOR WORK INVOLVED BECAUSE PARTS DONT FIT!!! TO WHAT YOU BOUGHT. THE TASK GRABIT GUY HAD TO CUT THE VANITY AROUND PIPES AND HAD TO TRAVEL TO GET NEW Fitting PARTS TO FIT. $600 LATER THE JOB WAS DONE. DONT ASSUME THE DIY PHRASE. DO RESEARCH FIRST! SOMETIMES THE JOB AND WORK INVOLVES IS OVER LOOKED AND CAN CAUSE YOU MORE TIME AND MORE MONEY. THANK GOD FOR HOME DEPOT NEARBY. THE TASK GRAB IT GUY WAS FROM Europe and did some serious cutting and metal cutting to get the so called SIMPLE DIY job done.
What about the black screw out thingies at the top of the waterline that you took off they should not be replaced. I didn’t notice you replacing those in your video.
Your videos are great! I have a question. I am just replacing my pop-up assembly, and it turns out that the pivot rod that came in a kit is too long for my small bathroom sink. Do these rods come in different lengths? Or do I need to cut it?????
