Was in Row C of the Rear Mezzanine, no issues seeing at all. Some minimal, brief obstruction in the scene where they’re recording music together as a band inside the studio at the back of the stage.
There’s a very good clip of Best Actor in a Musical Olivier winner Tom Francis performing the title song Sunset Boulevard at the awards ceremony. Worth a watch!
We recently wrapped a community theater production here of KINKY BOOTS that ran for multiple weekends in July and August. It was AMAZING how the cast put it together and how the audiences reacted. I can see your cast did the same!
Isn't Nicole too young to be playing Norma? Norma is supposed to be in her late 50s. I'm also confused about why Norma is completely covered in blood and why Joe is in his underwear? In the end, Joe is supposed to be fully dressed in a suit and walking out of the house with a suitcase when Norma shoots him, and he falls in the pool and dies.
I honestly think as hard as this is to do... it's very boring to watch. I seen another video and people said it was slowed down..... I was hoping to find a faster version
Looks ass ugly! I hate these pretentious modern productions that think they are edgy when they look cheap as hell and like an off off amateur production! Not immersive at all!
Thanks for posting, quick question for you. I have tickets in a couple of weeks and originally purchased in the spring for 3rd row center on the aisle on both sides of the orchestra. I will be selling one set, friends can't come, and wondering if there is one side I should prefer to keep over the other - like is more action stage left or right or no real difference? Thank you.
This is always the same resounding applause and standing ovations given to the cast of Sunset Boulevard and Nicole proved to be the brightest star of them all . Kudos also to the innovative and risqué direction of Jamie Lloyd this is the best version of DB which I witnessed ! More power to the show can’t wait to see it again for the third time !
