have fun with gh1 :) im a guitar hero fanatic and gh1's hopos sucks ballssss. in all of the games you hit a hopo without strumming, unless you miss a hopo then you have to strum back into it. see, gh1 the way it works is that it works like a real guitar which SUCKS for a game and its better to just strum every note. GH2 should be more fun. oh yea and there are the neversoft gh games that got ported to ps2 so enjoy those as well. kinda shitty ports so...
Your list seems kinda random to me :D I would put Max Payne into S spot, no doubt about it. Personally I didnt think God Of War was a big innovation. It felt like all the Hack-n-Slay games to me. So I would put it into A at best. Manhunt and Ridge Racer aswell, but of course below Max Payne, which was a master-piece in storytelling, gameplay and innovation (bullet-time, etc.). Crazy Taxi gets B at best, while Twisted Metal Black was THE best multiplayer game to exist (although not nice to look at), so I'd give it an A. All that other stuff in B, I'd probably put in D. But I guess that's how opinions work ;)
Yes, that is how opinions work lol. Thanks for sharing yours. I'm different experiences make a difference too, because I tried to be as objective as possible but, I couldn't help the nostalgia factor for some of these games.
@@monkeymittens Sure. And I think it's great you shared it and commented it, as I definitely felt nostalgia during watching your video. So, thank you! :)
Pretty much anything that's super long, like Persona 3 and some of the Final Fantasy games. Also any MMO, RPG, or MMORPG type games, they just don't appeal to me personally. Thankfully there are plenty of games to go through though so I can play a variety of games for now!
Twisted Metal Black was a fun rental back in the day for multi-player only. Solo missions are not the best, but i don't think that was the main appeal of the game.
Oh my god. I was trying to find this cartoon again but putting cartoon duck and gator had Google give me nothing. Thanks man. Shoot. I might make a video on this too.
Cartoon duck and gator, lol 🤣. I still can't believe how many people have said they used to watch this show because I've never heard of it until I played this game! I'm glad I helped you rediscover it!
Its amazing that the game is a Power Stone Like fighter lol Mandy making the game a fighting genre is my canon. It even has a side map in the maon map areas lol
I used to watch this show back on qubo haha! I just recently had a flashback to this show and now i find out there's a video game? I had no idea haha, great vid btw!
*PLAYER [_] NEEDS HAM BADLY* The game seems decent enough. I wonder how much it cost when it came out? I doubt it was anything under, say, 50 bucks. It is NOT worth that much, but if it was 20, maybe that would be okay. Nowadays, this game wouldn't sell for much, I think. It's a beat 'em up with Billy and Mandy characters, and I think it does a decent enough job at being just that, but there's not a lot going for it. Oh well, if you like beat 'em ups, it should be worth playing for a bit.
I agree, it does a good job at being what it is and nothing more. It's a short, action packed game with familiar characters, good for a little bit of fun!
I had no idea this TV show was popular enough back in the day for it to get a PS2 game. And I have no idea why RU-vid recommended your channel. However, I am glad it did, because this channel is VERY underrated and you are making excellent content about a gaming era that is close to my heart. That alone is worth a sub. Thank you for the video!
No, thank you, for the kind words! I really appreciate that! Also, I had no idea this was a TV show. Based off how the game was set up, I thought it could've been, but i wasn't completely sure.
I definitely think that counts as a win, at first I was thinking you were trying to get to content about the PS2 in general but just content about games on PS2 is still PS2 in my mind
Fun fact: one of the devs went on to make a spiritual successor called "Child of Eden" It's locked to dead consoles because of Ubisoft. Btw CoE features music from "Genki Rockets", a band which said developer formed. Yeah, that also includes "Heavenly Star" that was prominently featured in "Lumines II" (JP Version Only) and "No More Heroes" (Removed in later ports but restorable on the Windows version).
@@monkeymittens I played it when I was a kid a few times, and I always had fun with it. I recommend checking out the side content like the goals you missed and the minigames like leaf surfing. They're really fun. The soundtrack also slaps with like a lil bit of Green Day, and A.
@screamingatstars66 I actually did do the extra stuff as well I just didn't put it in the video. I also got 50 of the bronze penguins to unlock the level, "Legendary Wave", I think that's what it's called, because it sounded cool. Only to realize it's just a normal level and I was kinda sad. 😂
