Here are two simple ways to decide what to play. Make a list of everything you feel like playing right now. Then go by title order. Alternative: Put everything on a decision wheel and roll it.
I think analysis paralysis can be a big factor. Basically having so many options you cant pick anything. What it might be best to do in these scenarios is ask a series of questions to figure out what genre you really want to play; Do I want something competitive? If yes: Valorant, League, OW2, CS, DOTA 2 etc. If no; Do I want a shooter? Do I want a story game? Do I want an RPG? Lets say I want to play a singleplayer shooter; Do I want to play a shooter with a story? Do I want to play a shooter with RPG Mechanics? Do I want to play a shooter that is a rogue like? Do I want a shooter with realism? By narrowing down the genre, game type and specifics you want to play you can get a fewer and fewer selection of games to play making a decision easier.
o yea i used to grind that game hella, I stopped playing after the fontaine drop and couldn't get myself to get back into it. Very cool game with nice lore and one of the best OSTs honestly.
I relate a lot to your roots in gaming, everything was the same up to LoL and OW, but for me it was COD, GTA and OW. And instead of going to val, I went to destiny 2 and I became really good at it both pve and pvp. But after sinking in 3,000+ hours into d2 within 4 years, and getting bored by endgame stuff in gta I kinda just stopped playing games. I began to only play d2 because of FOMO(Fear of missing out), but constantly felt bored no new game interested me. So like you I looked for a new game with a new experience, and my pick was elden ring, but unlike you I chose not to buy the game as I was afraid I wouldn’t be good at a soul game and it’s combat so I never ended up picking it up and have been stuck playing d2 for a little over a year now. But after watching your experience going from constant multiplayer fast pace games to singleplayer more slow paced gameplay I feel like its the change I really need when it comes to gaming. The conclusion of the video resonates with me a lot because i’m having that same epitome moment that you are having when it comes to experience life. I’m heading into my second year of uni and feel relatively amazing. I step back by driving to a secluded location and just watch the sunset, or the rain trickle down, somedays I cry and vent to myself, other days I feel complete and content. Life and the future has so much to offer but it’s good to not forget to take a moment to step back, relax, and reflect on everything you’ve done so far, and appreciate the finer details in life. Understanding the miracle that it is to be living at this exact moment. I may be an Astrophysics major, but understanding the significance and amount of luck it takes to be here, right now, is valuable and joyful enough for me to enjoy it.
This game really hit me the first time played it. It's one of those games that you wanna show to your friends because of how good it is and also how moving it is, (great video btw)
Bro I feel you, I grew up on f2p mmo competitive games like runescape and gunbound, rpg like maplestory, and eventually playing dota1 and dota 2 for over a decade on and off, as well as other mmorpg and OW. Now I'm 30 and found the beauty of single player games and taking my time playing them as life is busy and going back to all those games I never played in the past like Mass effect and Bioshock and newer ones like Witcher 3 and Outer Wilds.
Step one get a Steam Deck I’m telling you those couple minutes in bed or on the throne add up. I’ve gamed so much more because of the Steam Deck but it hasn’t affected anything I do because I just knock it out in those little moments. You do have to kinda limit yourself but still.
I was thinking really into making youtube videos on TON of different topics, actually started some other one on my different channel, it went okay but I quit, but after watching this video, something just clicked on for me and you just made me to start making videos on something that I like , and that I know about, and that is Souls game, in a moment I god a ton of ideas that have potential to go viral, thanks brother, I will remember you if all goes to plan, you won't be forgotten!😁
When I was younger I always played multiplayer games but now I'm getting older I don't really play them anymore. Sometimes with a friend but that's about it I much prefer single player games now. I love being alone and immersed in a world.
I played botw first in covid. I finished it almost 20 times and did all glitches. When i hear the soundtrack, i feel like that part of my life is gone.
Lovely video mate. Being able to play alone gave me a realization that I don't need to share good moments with someone in order for them to be good. It also gives me a greater sense of freedom regarding that I can turn the game off whenever I want, without needing to wait for a match to end or to deal with friends asking for one last game. Great video!
