Old Subaru’s were like that (early 90’s and before) For example the Subaru Brumby (BRAT if your a yank) has the EA81 engine in it, no rev limiter. Most Brumby’s didn’t even come with a tachometer, just a number on the speedo telling you when you need to shift by
1. Use no rev limiter 2. Use a manual transmission 3. Drive up to 2nd gear until you hit the red zone 4. Downshift to the 1st gear without pressing on the clutch, but pressing on the gas HARD 5. Keep pressing hard on the gas until you don't hear any noise 6. ???? 7. PROFIT!!
@@turboahdettusupra58 my Peugeot 206HDi seemed to make the same 90 hp at 3000 and 4000 rpm and it would take ages to climb to its limit at 5000 rpm so I didn't bother, I just changed gear. Quite a bit of torque even at 1500 though.
Thank you for this video. Very instructional and just what I was looking for; My motorcycle's rev limiter was limiting revs at low rpms like this so cut the wire to ICU and all good now
If you want more fun with no rev limiter and a safer way where you dont reck your car buy a 2 stroke dirtbike or atv the only rev limiter they have is the laws of physics
