Welcome to Double Edge Express, Double Edge Express is a channel for Double Edge Shaving, Tips about using a Double Edge Razor.
I started Double Edge Express RU-vid Channel for the means for the guys who have sensitive skin and are looking for another option to shaving without getting extreme razor burns and bumps because how sensitive their skin can be.
I have seen you shave with Stirling’s British Leather a few times. After your last shave with it, I decided to purchase it. I received it this weekend and used it this morning. I thought it lathered well, as with all of the Stirling soaps I have. I really enjoyed the scent. Thanks for the recommendation. I have always found that the hurricanes I have been in, while the storm is bad, quite bad in some cases, the worst part is the week to 10 days afterwards. This amount of time has typically been a long as the power has been out. As you know, the days after a hurricane are hot and humid. Without power and AC, I am miserable. Glad you made it through relatively unscathed.
First, I hope you and your family are well. Then please stay safe, uploading videos can wait, the bottom line here is that you take care of yourself and that you all are well. Kind regards.
The funny thing is that my most expensive razor my Muhle R106 which was my favorite razor has now become my second favorite razor, the Zomchi New Blue Razor has become my favorite razor now .
Good luck regarding the hurricane. Always a lot of uncertainty with them, IMO. Congratulations on #600. I really enjoy your videos. I also hope you are enjoying Fear Fest. I was not aware AMC had this. I have seen movies that I have not seen for a couple of decades. Thanks for the info on it.
When I was a kid, my father (who has since passed away) used to go hunting with a shotgun, especially capybara, since it was good meat and served for several meals. But one time, he injured a female capybara and when my father found her, the animal made such a screech to defend itself that its stress and nerves transferred to the meat and it had a different taste, as well as a disgusting smell. From there, he switched to the bow and arrow and in the stillness of the lakes he hunted for fish. Thanks for making me remember this.
I usually turn off my water at the valve in my yard when I am gone for more than a few days. Had a leak when I was on business travel for a few weeks. Came home and the ceiling in the living room had collapsed.
I purchased the Viking Revolution Peppermint & Eucalyptus after you first reviewed it after Father’s Day. I like as a shave soap and I agree on the scent with the eucalyptus being the main scent. I like that scent. I have not tried the other Viking soap you recommended. I will have to check it out. I think the labor costs for installing or fixing something on car is ridiculous. I used to work on my own cars. These were cars from the 1970’s when everything was not cramped to work on nor computers. I had a problem after a hurricane this year where water got into one of my front headlights. I was told that they had to replace a computer on the headlight. My initial thought was why do I need a computer in the headlight. $3000 later I got a new computer for one headlight 🤦♂️
Have heard that Macy’s is at some level economic downturn but I have not seen anything regarding its sponsorship of the parade. I hope they remain, for tradition sake anyway. I have never been to the parade in person, just on the TV.
I did not do too much for the first day of fall this year. I have been under the weather slightly since Friday. I do usually make some kind of fall themed soup like butternut squash or pumpkin.
You’re not getting free stuff. You made this video and gave your opinion on it. In return you get to keep the razor. I got the same one today and will be reviewing on Wednesday.
@@doubleedgeexpress Hmm, I'm not seeing it either. Anyway, I guess just hit my channel. It's my latest video. I mentioned you and your review of this and put a link to this video. Thanks, man!!
The season’s are determined by the angle of the sun to the Earth. The Spring and Fall equinoxes are determined by when the sun is over the equator. Summer & Winter coincide when the Sun is aligned with the Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn. Knowing when the Sun passes directly over one of these latitudes can be determined very accurately. Even the ancient peoples were able to determine this. The Earth is tilted on its axis by approximately 23.5 degrees. This tilt is what gives us our seasons.
I honestly love it it’s not to aggressive and the blades for it are fantastic, if you want to look/ purchase it go to my product review video about it and click on the link to it .
Too bad about the store closing. I have only used Gatlinburg and Bay Rum. I cannot comment on the others and they may have a better scent - Hot Apple Cider sounds aromatic though. Being from the mountains, I would go with Gatlinburg.
Great shave with one of my top 5 scents! 🙂 AOS closing is a shame, P&G, who owns them, announced in 2020 they would close most of the stores and the one in Orlando was the last one. Reasons were not enough mall traffic and changing of shopping habits from brick & mortar to online. They do have a great deal going on right now online for September. Regarding next shave soap...I would say Hot Apple Cider to kick off Fall🙂👍
Well i shared with you and you shared with me bad news. So now I believe we are even😂. Though there are outside stores that do still still some of their products.
In the Houston area, it is still in the 90’s, maybe as low as 70 at night. Having lived here for 17 years, I have come to the conclusion that this part of Texas only has two seasons: wet and damn hot. I was not counting hurricane season, of course.
I was at work when the planes crashed. They turned on all of the TV’s on the site and everyone was planted in front of them with their jaws dropped. I went home and sat on the couch and just felt numb. I was not sure what I should do, if anything.
You are absolutely right the buckets were bigger in the 90s. I remember mine even having a full lid. And some of their food has even gotten smaller now. Just look at the big Mac. I remember the patties going all the way to the edge of the bun. Now they are small and in the center. And now they charge you more for everything there and it's not worth it. But if you tell they their stuff was bigger in the 80s and 90s they just look at you and tell you your crazy or wrong. And will argue with you too.
I honestly do not recall the McDonald’ bucket. I am a little older than you though and they may not have had them when I was trick or treating. It could also be that my memory past a couple of days in the past is not existent anymore.
I am a fan of the old horror movies from the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s. The original Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman…Yes, they are not as scary as the more modern ones but I believe they are great.
