I haven't used the gun yet so take this comment with a grain of salt. Why fixate on spraying at the maximum pressure? Wouldn't you get a better finish at the lowest pressure appropriate for the viscosity of the material? I purchased the gun to get in some tight places where my go-to gun wouldn't fit. Thanks for taking the time to make the video, I found it helpful.
Good question Bill. Since you are not new to spraying you have the experience to be able to recognize when it's too high or low, but I probably should have addressed this issue. Too high, and you risk overspray and a rough texture; too low, and the paint may not atomize effectively. It depends on a lot of things such as the type of paint, the length of hose the diameter of the hose, the needle size even the temperature can make a difference. This is why I would recommend using an air regulator. With this gun and latex paint, I found that it needed more air pressure. Thanks for watching the video.
Thanks, I'm sorry that the video got messed up. I deleted the original so can't go back and recreate the whole process. Hopefully the main idea comes through.
The problem would be that since the wood itself is twisted the twist would always be fighting you. The bottom wouldn't move if it was toe nailed but the top would keep springing back until it gets nailed solid. You have to be able to some how hold the top in place while nailing it. That's where the wrench comes in handy.
That's alot of stuff on the bottom of that tiny gun😂 Otta get ya a cheap guaged air valve/cheater valve at Harbor Freight. You can 86 that adapter and big diaphragm regulator. They have a 1/4 compression fitting that screws on to the fitting on the gun. I run mine at 20-30psi. Just enough to atomize the paint. Great little gun for touch ups and small parts. Can't believe I never used one. I like it so much I mite get the original Iwata lph50 that it resembles to go with my full size Iwatas👍
Yeah it's a lot of stuff but I had it laying around. The point I wanted to make for those that didn't know was to regulate the air at the gun. Thank you for the comment. They help everyone.
THANK. YOU. For this awesome video! I picked up one of these to play around with and never having used one was baffled by the instructions. Not only did you explain how to operate the thing, you told me everything I needed to know to actually paint something. I honesty feel like printing a link to this video on a bunch of address labels and attaching it to every box of this sprayer next time I go shopping at HF-it’s that good.
Hi I’m trying to maybe do the same test on the oil gauge?? Will it work the same? Did you connect the wire that goes the the sensor on the engine to the wire you grounded in the cab in the handbrake?? Thanks
Yes, I put an alligator clip on the sensor wire and the other end onto the blue wire that I touched to ground (the hand brake). The oil gauge should peg just like the temperature gauge did. The gas gauge would do the same thing.
Thanks 👍!! Would you also have any tip on how to test the tachometer on an electric ignition jag coming from the negative on the coil to the ballast resistor. Ordered a new oil sending unit today.
@@christopherpost5409 Use a multimeter set to AC not DC. Put the positive on the tach wire and the negative to ground.Start the car watch the meter. The voltage should change and go up as you rev the car up and down as the car idles.and down and observe the reading on the meter.
great, thanks! the person I hired can really mess up a lot of things, but he is really good at laying ceramic floor tiles, he didn't use any of those plastic thingies, just the adhesive, a soft hammer and beer. xd I know it sounds horrible but he didn't do a bad job. it actually looks good. but props to you for being a professional!! I wish we had people like that around my place.
I removed some tile that was truly stuck and had small variable shapes, so this technique may not have helped as much, but the tool and the technique were something I would have liked to try. As it was I smashed it all off with a hammer from the top. The job got done, but I don't recommend that way of doing it.
I experienced similar problems adjusting the larger sprayer, playing with air rates and spray rates and all that joy. Great idea with the regulator right on the gun!
.You need to use much more surfactant than that, you gotta pour some into that sprayer, that may be your problem because using not enough makes you waste your time here, the tenacity will just roll right off the weeds and into the dirt. You're also doubling up and over spraying rhe same spots, you gotta get a sweeping motion going on😮
I did a follow up video that shows again it doesn't work. Take a look at it and tell me what you think, Thanks for the feedback. Here is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-STKLS9cnx2A.html
That must be the reason then. I pick them up all the time I consider them the " 2x4" s for metal working. I also have been known to peel the outer warping off of hot water tanks. It gives you a lot of straight clean sheet metal. That I would consider the "plywood" of metal work.
Parks pro finish is the best I have found in 40 years in the business. Although I have never used Parks water based product, because I have never been happy using any water based product on floors. Water based products on floors look great at first but will not stand the test of time. Thank you for the video.
good video I use 3/16 inch mostly, with a blade angle somewhat less than 40 degrees. Round or Square Hubs are cut ahead of slotting, then held through the center hole with a 1/4-20 nut though the miter gage extension. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mxKqC92vRdA.html
Your obvious problem is you are not spraying with a fan nozzle on a decent sprayer. You are using a disposable device that was not intended to do what you did. That is why you can’t see your die and you have such spotty coverage.
I’ve used tenacity in my yard here in Texas, and I’ve been very surprised and pleased with the results! I hope it works out for you. Have you use SpeedZone?
@@artpfenninger5914 so i just sprayed some 6 days ago it’s working great all my weeds are dying it even took out my flowers and I didn’t even spray them but right next to them were weeds that I did spray 😫
Tenacity and even Meso 4C, a generic, works fantastically even on the most stubborn weed-infested lawns. Patience and persistence is a must to see results!
The weeds dose not dy just the wey you want it teke time to work jut need to be patient bcz you are not spray roundup and the wey they spray they are over spray
Take about 8-to really see it. And your need to add more due. I add 2tsp per gallon to mine and have no problem seeing it. I would do everything again. Make sure your measurements were correct and then make sure your applying properly.
Since everyone keeps asking: Consult your service manual online for fluid specs and capacities. It’ll be under “maintenance” and “specifications”. The Sakis can accept conventional ethyl glycol antifreeze. Aka “the standard green stuff for 96+ vehicles” by Prestone at your local auto store. 🔧 👌
