All that for a f****** gun????? 🤦🏻♂️ You think somebody or a company would make a nice sleek smooth low profile easy to install great for a Toyota Tacoma gun holster out of the way doesn't get in the way of your knees or legs close to the gas pedal gun holster why are all the f****** gun holsters that close to the f****** gas pedal????? Am I the only one who has their leg up that close to the gas pedal??? Don't get me wrong I love tacomas I love mine but they're small the cab inside is small there is no leg room for the driver so putting a handgun anywhere near the gas pedal or your leg takes up an extreme amount of room why is everybody putting holsters that close to your leg and gas pedal???? I swear this world has become so stupid I saw a really cool lock box but again it was so close to your kneecap that every time you would move over the gun would come flying out at this point it's almost pointless to even have a gun in the vehicle don't even know why I signed up for a concealed carry permit
Confusing, why you buy the boxes and not check for the missing items? that's not an issue, the issue is with you and not doing your due diligence. Always check tool boxes, specially at Lowes.

Try a new SD card. I had similar issue. Quickcapture works only when I turn it on, and when I turn it off, the screen freeze to black. But yeah, try using a new sd card

Excellent job man. I actually installed a Keeper magnet exactly where you have your holster installed in my generation 3 Taco. I didn't want to get too involved with taking things apart, and opted for an easier option, but it seems to be very well situated where I have it and the magnet is very strong. I don't see myself bringing my firearm in the truck all that often anyhow, since we have constitutional carry here in Ohio now and I usually keep it in an easily accessible place on my person. Thanks for this.
GREAT video man. I'm going to be honest. I don't think I'll go through all of that and will go with the adhesive route for my magnet holder. If it doesn't work I'll forgo the whole thing, but frankly, I don't think now that I'm retired that I'll be driving enough to go through all that "unboxing" so to speak. Thanks for this though brother.
Edit: I think I found a fix. I went into Preferences->General and turn off Quick Capture, then turn off the camera and turn it back on and go back into the menu and turn QuickCapture back on. Original post: I have had the same issue with two hero8 cameras. I wasted so much time trying to find a fix. These things are garbage
I agree. You could have a situation that would not require spacers and others that could. I’m not sure if they could include all the sizes for all possibilities. I did not mind building it out to my personal preference and what I consider the safest and most convenient installation. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
Would that also hold a revolver like a Ruger GP100? Thinking about mounting one to the front of my driver’s seat in my Tacoma, but I want universal. I could mount a strap/belt that I could attach holsters to, but if the magnet is universal it may be a better option.
You can get them from Home Depot or Lowes. They are located in the hardware aisle usually in drawers under the nuts and bolts. Drawer is usually label “Specialty Hardware” or something similar. There are also pictures on the drawer handles that may help. I have the same issue - I'm on my second unit and the problem still exists. If you are out in the field I've found it easier to do a soft reboot rather than remove the battery especially when it's raining or the camera is in a protective cover. Hardly what you expect from an adventure camera with a quick capture feature that fails and you miss a shot. I don't see GoPro fixing this issue now they are on a newer generation of camera. Terrible customer support when a company releases new products to the market without fixing the issues with the old.
