I decided to create tutorials for all of my literary inspired arrangements, as due to illness, I've had to close down all my selling platforms. I'm now taking the opportunity to learn all the arts and crafts which I've always wanted to try.
Weekly, I post a variety of videos documenting my creative journey. These are art and craft based, with a chatty vlog, usually every two weeks. As well as full process, no chat videos of my neurographic, zentangle and art progress.
So do subscribe if you don't want to miss out!
Your support helps to keep me motivated, especially on the days when I'm not feeling so good. Thank you!
That was a lot harder to do than it looked :) I found myself rearranging the 2nd coin quite a bit. Yours turned out much better. I think I'll keep trying it out. Thanks for the idea, it was fun :)
I love the watercolour cauliflowers. FyI Instead of using the craft knife…..try rubbing the pencil against sandpaper…onto wet paper. Try different kinds too..from course through to fine..
As I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel, I really enjoyed this journey through your art books; I find your work inspirational. Have a lovely holiday 🥰
I really enjoy your "full process" videos. They are both relaxing and inspirational. One small suggestion/request : Please leave the shot of the finished image on a little bit longer before starting the actual drawing.
I love the pauses while you think about your next move and the occasional "oopsie" that will disappear in the final image. I am in the early stages of zentangling and am including it in my neurographics. Learning from you has been a great help. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos and for sharing your skills.
Haha, the oopsies... Yes, I'm all for working any mistakes into the final drawing. Not all of them work out, as you'll see from my sketchbooks! Keep drawing and thanks for dropping by!
Your art is lovely…thank you…the music was also lovely the first two or three times we heard it…after that it became annoying!!!! It did not dawn on me until I had finished watching that I could have muted the sound…lol… thank you again for sharing🤗🤗🤗
Thank you! Sorry you didn't like the music on this one - it's hard to find something good with a limited library of free music. Thanks for dropping by!
That's cute, Oh maybe that's part of it - when we are little we don't try so hard and just have fun with the pens and colours... and that's kind of what I end up doing now. Food for thought!! Thank you for your comments and letting me know you dropped by !
Thank you! I'm still on the hunt for the perfect book, I don't mind the sketchbook I've just started although it's not great for large areas of inks or paint. But I do have a big pack of 190gsm watercolour paper which I use for some of my no chat videos which is perfect - I just need to find that in sketchbook form!! The hunt continues!! Thank you for dropping by!
Good morning! Wow I love your circles. Your style is developing so beautifully. I loved your dragonfly on the watercolour background. I also do neurographic art on watercolour background. So relaxing. I sometimes take it to the next level and turn them into rocks. I am so glad you are doing well. I have taken the plunge and started livestreaming. My brain cannot handle editing video, so I will just do videos live and leave it at that. I will throw you a follow with my streaming account name (starts with "Digital"). Have an awesome day and thank you again for another inspirational video!
do you know until i saw your channel i had never even heard of neurographic art and i went to medical school they never covered this at all for stroke victims. I find this interesting so thank you for making these videos i have been watching them as my own sister suffered three strokes and is uncommunicative i bought her a sketch pad and some pens and pencils and we've been watching your art videos so I am eager to see what she will create. Yesterday she said thank you for the first time in five years she uttered something other then jibberish
Thank you, I sincerely hope that your sister makes a swift recovery. You must be very happy that she is starting to communicate, she is very lucky to have such a thoughful sibling. All the best to you both.
Using a dip pen is so satisfying. For the price you paid, you still should have not had the issues you did. I had a painted wood stem that did the same thing. I ended up getting a "speedball" starter set with the two stems and 6 nibs. It was minimally more than what you spent but the stems are all plastic, so no chance of peeling paint. I have had other nibs rust. I think it was from me leaving them in water though. Rubbing with a bit of alcohol will remove the rust. Just be sure to dry them thoroughly. Your tin will be handy to hold the nibs and you could also pop in one of those desiccant packs to make sure no moisture affects the nibs during storage. I do think investing in a set is a wonderful addition because it is very meditative and creates a completely different look and feel than regular liner markers. Awesome video as always!
Oh my those dragon flies! I have been exploring them this past week as well. Yours are beautiful! As far as your sketchbook shortage … I gave up on sketchbooks and now just buy the biggest pads I can. Then I cut them down to whatever sizes I want. Sometimes I leave them loose and sometimes I will punch them ahead of time so I can put them in a binder or other binding options. I have been so inspired by you, I have decided to start doing art livestreams. I am terrible with making videos, so I have watched others who just livestream making art so that others can join in and have a calm little art session. We will see how it goes. Thanks again!
Thank you Lisa! I might have to resort to the binder method, thats a good idea, far better than struggling with a sub-standard sketchbook - I do like the idea of looking back on my progress in order, so that might be the way to go... I hope the livestream sessions go well!
Thank you so much for sharing. I’m interested in this palette. In Thailand this palette costs over £25. So I study a lot to make sure it’s worth to pay for or not. Thank you 🙏🏻😊
What a great video. I am very excited about working with some air dry clay. Just yesterday I was watching a video about how to make your own paint pallets. This one of yours comes at a perfect time. I may just pick up a brick of clay and, some basic tools to get started. I am tapping into my adventurous creator, lol. I hope you have an awesome day. Thank you again for your videos.
I had the same problem and then watched a video where they dipped the brush into the white spirits and then almost wiped it dry and then used it without redipping until absolutely necessary. It didn’t make sense to my brain but less works much better than more.
Losing your mojo is totally relatable. It can be frustrating because we know what it feels like to have our mojo. You have inspired me so much. I know that having the channel much provide both motivation to do something and frustrations when it doesn’t come. Double edged sword for sure. As I was looking for more things to help me get my mojo back, I came across information that may be of interest to you. July is world watercolour month. The main challenge is to create a watercolour piece every day for the month. Each year a different charity is also attached to it. People can post their finished pieces to fb etc., not. It sounds like an interesting option. Anyways, don’t be disappointed about what you created, it is all more beautiful than you think. There is also beauty in being able to push on while dragging mojo along whether they want to come or not, lol.
Thanks Lisa! The challenge sounds interesting, will look into that. Thanks for mentioning it. Are you taking part in it? Feel like I've been having a slightly better day today! Hope you have a good weekend
@@novellarose423 I am glad to hear you are having a better day. I plan to participate and have joined the fb page. I doubt I will post anything, but it will be a good motivator to do a little every day.
No, not shouting at you, but i am inspired. I have made made many gromes and grome huts. I did learn something from you.... using a tooth brush. Great job! Just found you and so happy i did! Thank you enjoyed the video very much, made me smile and a bit of laughter.
This interests me a lot. I remember the smell of oil pastels from school, but have not tried them since. I may just pick up a pack and start with an apple or two. 😊😊
Fantastic as always. I am so glad you had a week to yourself. It is so nice to see you experiment with so many different art forms. It makes me think that I am not fickle, but rather creatively adventurous 😂. Have a great day!
Creatively adventurous! What a brilliant phrase! I see it all as a way to discover new things, who knows where the next project will take you! Hope you have a good few weeks!
