I’m not hating on what you’re doin. The motivation is cool But you’re gonna lose your business just as fast as you started it with these cheap prices. After taxes, LLC fees, fuel, insurance, labor, unexpected mishaps ect you’re working for Pennie’s on the dollar. You need a set minimum price. Growing as a business and running a business is expensive and takes more than just a “thought” haha. All I see is you misleading your following while completely winging it. Your business is supposed to be your career not your hobby. But I do wish you the best on your endeavors and hope you’re able to manifest your vision and reach your goals. 👍

@@lifeontherocks605 I respect your input and opinion on all your points. I understand where you’re coming from and I do agree with you on me not charging as much as I should on some jobs, specifically this one. I’m figuring out quoting, specifically coming from a state like California. Quoting is way different and so are prices. I’m not misleading people by any means. Remember I work for myself and I don’t have overhead. I own all my equipment and tools. So when I’m making $200-$700 daily or every other day, I’m doing well. I totally get your stance but what you’re seeing here is what’s actually happening in my life and business. I’m working daily. I can’t stand people misleading others. Alls I’m trying to do is give hope to someone. This can be achieved, my life and business will be on display. I do need to charge more but I’m not wanting to miss opportunities at this growth period. There’s a method to my madness and I will explain in a video. Sometimes we have to sacrifice in our growth stage to get the job and build reputation. Not everyone approaches business the same way. Who knows, my way might fail…. That’s why everyone will see if I fail or succeed. Keep watching. I’m not claiming to be a millionaire or super successful. I talk about coming from nothing and just recently getting out of the struggle. No bizarre claims here brother. Anyways I wish you luck and I appreciate you leaving your input. When I first started my business I was filling in my non work days at my buddy’s tree company. I was running equipment pulling tree stumps. You can pay that machine off in one years or less if you have enough work. It’s easy work and you make $500-1500 per job. It’s fast easy money. I pulled a stump out in a hour and the customer was charged $1400. I was blow away. Where are you located? Remember, scared money doesn’t make money. At some point you have to take a risk to get to the next level. I get that way too man. I get nervous spending what I worked so hard to save. But if you’re spending it to further your life, it’s a no brainer. Have faith in yourself. Remember, we fail because of ourselves. Glad you can get that kind of money for that job. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone here that'd pay that much. That job might be $100.00 at most here, and people would pitch a fit to pay that. Finding workers here is real hard, took me 2 years to find someone to pour 7 yds of concrete, making a tornado shelter pad, 12'' thick, 6 pier-holes 6' deep, 18'' round, with rebar. Come out to $1200.00 labor, rebar and concrete. The concrete was expensive, cost $110.00 yd, so you see what he made. And he dug it by hand too, no machines. Took him 2 full days getting it ready, then poured the concrete on the 3rd day. I ran ads in the paper, on the internet, and called heaps to do the job, most made bids, then didn't show up, and all were within $200.00 of the fella that did the work. I hope you do well, sounds like folks have some big money there.

Back then, they could make $300.00 a day, cash, and it was either too hot or too hard of work. So, hope you have good luck, when you get to a point to hire a hand, pay them decent, and they'll stay loyal to you. I know I work too cheap now, heck I just got off the mower at 9:40 tonight, mowed 1 acre of yard, weed eat tomorrow, and I charge them $100.00. I build wheelchair ramps, porches, decks, do barbed wire or hog wire fence work, I used to wash boats too on the lake, that was a pain. I think it's a difference in states, or even cities, I rarely see a big city, biggest town to me is 20 miles, so local work is mostly small farmers, anyway, other areas may have more money. Been fencing for three years now on my own. Made a lot of money, but it’s definitely not just something you can go do with zero experience. You should really go around town and at least assess other professional companies work as well as watch videos and everything.

@Nothing2Somthing 24 дня назад
I totally agree with you. I definitely don't claim to be a fence pro by any means. I got lucky with an easy fix. Im always totally honest with a customer. If I don't think I can do the job with confidence, I tell them I can't do it and refer them to a professional in that area. Ive done this a couple times now. I will never risk screwing a customer and having to utilize my insurance lol. Im always learning from YT vids or other professionals in that area. Im glad you've made a lot of money in business. How's it going this summer for you? what area are you located in?

Now I understand how your goal was to make a good amount of money in your business. You have tasted it. You might choose to find a place of contentment in your journey. You might enjoy listening to old videos of Earl Nightingale. The best story of your life is how it ends. What will become the value of your name (reputation)? Ecclesiastes 3:12-13. Contentment. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14. Discover the difference between a plan and a purpose. A plan is a specific route to a destination. When obstacles appear. The plan goes off course and most people can’t recover. A purpose focuses on the destination with no specific route. To live by purpose you will get there. Peace out from Texas.

Thank you for all of that. I love Earl Nightingale. He’s one of the first speakers I found in my early 20’s. I love the old stuff. Looks like we share something’s in common. Yeah now you get where I’m coming from in my videos. I do need to find a middle ground because I wasn’t content even when I was making what I was making a while back. It was never good enough. I think I just love chasing progression. Or maybe I haven’t found my purpose yet. Either way I’m naturally a happy person. I just like to always strive for better. Stay in touch my man. @@Nothing2Somthing Yes. I started a part time lawn care business at the age of 62. Just past one year back in April. I started it to help pay my health care insurance because I am under Medicare age. I worked for a company for 44 years. There is nothing like being self employed. I will share a lesson I perceived. Every dollar I earn must come from someone’s pocket but never my own pocket. Therefore, we are interdependent upon each other. All people regardless of their income should be respected and thanked for their participation in the business world. You will do well because there is no quit in you. Again it will be your challenge to find contentment in your set of circumstances.
