Thank you for the vid, I am also looking at doing a colour analysis when I get there next month. Appreciate the insight and have given me confirmation to go woth Bomnal Studio. Thank you Thank you thank you.
I also left SQ after flying for 5 years to pursue a degree in NUS comms in 2016 (btw, I also went to South Korea for summer exchange in my last year but at Yonsei haha). As I hear you recount your experiences, I realised there were so so many parallels to mine - from starting uni in mid-20s to the work culture, what we loved and hated about the job, what was our tipping point, the emotional labour, feeling stuck and distant, to anxiously taking that first step out to find out what else is there to learn and experience outside of SQ. Thanks for sharing your story! - From a fellow ex-SQ boy
Hi there, sorry I don't use Lemon8 nor insta but I saw your post on Lemon8 regarding the OSS at SUSS offers. May I know how long is the programme? Like the duration you'll be there.
Thanks for sharing about the nature of a flying job. Now I’m able to empathise more with the cabin crews after hearing about the politics, difficulties in interpersonal relationships amongst themselves especially with the crew leaders. And despite all these they still put up a warm and helpful smile to us the passengers.
I hope to be able to join SQ/Scoot as marketing or design or business executive etc. Any tips on this? I'm looking for a career change. I'm burn out from working in social service sector. I have a very niche degree in one of the allied health disciplines.
Hello Ashley! I think they are actively hiring. You really need to have a strong resume for SQ or scoot. In the meantime you can work for related field companies like Changi Airport or travel agencies? I’m not sure what other tips I can give since I’m also looking for jobs 😂
You didn’t talk about your twin brother and if he knows and did you two talk about it. Same for your dad. And good luck with the new person you might be dating, hoping he he’s the one.
My brother knows. He always have known I think. But when I dated Andy he was away for work. And my sister would have probably told him when he came back. My dad ah. Never talk about it at all. Guess it’s just the Asian culture. Thank you! You’re sweet!
Hey!! If possible, could u share about how you answered the question on “why cabin crew” or “why do you want to join SQ”? and if those who provide commonly used answers like “childhood dream” would be prone to being rejected?
Hello! I did also used my childhood dream as my answer but I continue to let them know that when I grow up, interacting with people and service is what I enjoy. So always relate it back to your current state of mind. Yes it can be your childhood dream but what about now?
Calm down Karen. It is called Adoubting, where we try to clear any doubt about adulting! Yes, it's a word-play on the word "doubt" so it's misspelt on purpose✌🏼
Have u ever thought Buuz kinda sounds familier with baozi bc it is created by Mongols. The word buuzs origin is booj (kinda direct writing) means pack 😅 that mean pack the meat inside. Through time it traveled along with mongols then reached china were its name evolved from booh or booj to baozi
You need to calm down. I am trying to relate it to what I know back home so people can understand what it is like. It is not Chinese dumplings. I said it resembles one and I did call it buuz both in text and video
@@diongdion Dion you are correct. Buuz is form of Baozi. Actually it is Baozi. It is Chinese food that Mongolian adopted. Thanks for coming to Mongolia in winter. Come back again during the summer! Sun rise at 5am and set at 10pm.
