If you notice in the last episode Frieren first just kindly asked aura to leave suggesting that they didn’t have to fight. But once aura took himmels name in vain Frieren said “I can kill you without mercy” and then proceeds to kill her in the most disrespectful way possible . TLDR Frieren is really protective of Himmel and if you’re a demon DO NOT let his name come out of your mouth around her. She don’t play when it comes to her man Edit: also just wait , the next arc is gonna have plenty of action for ya lol. Don’t worry just be patient

The UTTER disrespect for an enemy that you not merely hate, but LOATHE is why Frieren's name translates to "Frozen." There's cold-blooded, and then there's Frieren. Even Maomao in Episode 4 of Apothecary Diaries had more consideration.

one thing i love about this show is that there are no "random power boosts" that you were worried about. the magic is logical and explained very well. also, while this show is not centered around action per say, when their IS action it's incredible (just wait for episodes 8-10).
