This is the best Concho tour video on RU-vid right now!! We’re moving into one soon, and have been looking at videos for months. Yours is so detailed, vivid, and gives the viewer a lot to work with. Thank you!
We’re also considering concho as well. Did you guys end up purchasing? We plan to head over there in about a month, but scouring the Internet for as much info as possible.
@@lirianocatalina Yes, we did purchase! Happy to answer any questions. We had a good experience from the beginning, and enjoy our home so far. We have been here for 7 months.
@@vanessaleveille9957that is great to hear! Yes so many questions, but I’ll keep them to a minimum. lol 1-which master plan community did you guys move to? We’re considering Caney Mills or balmoral. And were there any hidden HOA fees? 2- is that developer flexible to make slight changes to any of the set plans? We’re interested in either Rio or Trinity. But interested in seeing if slight changes can be made to like where the breakfast nook is positioned etc. or the master bath configuration. Etc. 3-How long did it take to be built? We had a trip scheduled end of March but had to push it back to possibly end of May due to me getting emergency surgery.
@@lirianocatalina no worries!! 😊 1. We’re in Balmoral. I don’t think there were hidden fees; but I don’t think we understood we were paying for things we didn’t need. For example, we went with Castle Rock’s partner security system (which we like) but the HOA has one built into the fee. We don’t remember hearing about this. 2. Beyond the options they give you, we weren’t able to make slight changes. I asked if we could move location of our island and that wasn’t an option. I also asked for a flat island, and they couldn’t accommodate that either so we have a 2-level island. We did get options for configuration for primary bath. Our team was really great from sales, to design, to build.. and we knew there was inly so much they could do beyond options. But I definitely asked for changes anyway throughout process, even if there was a chance it couldn’t be done. 3. We broke ground in Feb ‘23 and closed in Aug ‘23. They were plenty of delays given we were in a new section that didn’t even have street lights yet, and were amongst the first couple of houses being built in our section. Right now, I am seeing houses get completed in shorter time. Wishing you all the best with recovery!
Thank you for the tour of this home. Very nice layout. There’s some design choices I would have did differently. I love white cabinets its so refreshing to see a home with beautiful French doors again instead of all these hideous barn doors not a fan of wood beans but those could be changed in designing. If I wanted cabin then that would be A design element of natural woods I look for, Otherwise not in my home. keep with the classic beautiful traditional fireplaces neutral colors which is timeless look that never goes out of style. Then Add modern furniture. All these homes with this shiplap crazy wallpaper and wood everywhere just looks cheap in my opinion. One design I do love is the black windows very modern.
