First time watching. That was some beautiful work. I absolutely love those Ventracs. My dream is to someday own one. lol. I enjoy doing projects like that one. Love seeing the before and after pics. New subscriber. I’ll be watching more. Like your glasses too. Look like glasses you would wear riding motorcycles. Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work. Bruce in Wv!!!
Hey Bruce! Glad you found the channel! 👍 The Ventrac is an amazing machine. Capable of tackling so many different jobs. Really enjoy running this machine. You must ride motorcycles? These glasses are designed for just that. They work great for lawn care work as well. Keeps all of the dust and debris out. Really appreciate the support. Thank you for subscribing! More videos coming soon…
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri used to work at a bike shop. Lol. We sold those style glasses. Very popular. I’d like to have a pair of prescription ones. For when I mow for the same reason you do. lol.
Parkway is considered CITY property but we are responsible for upkeep. Many of the sidewalks in my town look like this in Iowa City Iowa. Yards are just as bad. You have to call and report people if they don't mow cause City doesn't cruise around city and observe the yards. That's what our tax dollars are paying them for but it isn't happening. Neighbors around me are just lazy- no health issues- just don't mow, weed, trim trees and all are under 40-50 years old.

A new big venttrac is around $30,000 and that’s not counting the mowing deck or duel wheels. You can buy a good used farm tractor and 15 foot bush hog for less than that.
Oh yeah, the price keeps climbing up. I bought this one when the prices were still low. I can’t even afford an attachment now lol. You’re talking about two completely different machines though. This thing will go anywhere. And you have so many attachments to choose from. Get in and out of places without tearing up the lawn or tackle really steep hills that no other machine can handle. But if you had a flat open area that you really want to move through, the traditional tractor with 15 foot bush hug is the way to go!
Have the ebz 8560 that just came out last year and is supposed to be on par with echo 9010! It is most positively Not! Find Redmax Blowers ALWAYS lose at least 25% of power within a year or so while Echo does not. The hardware on Redmax also cheap , hose will break at swivel connector as will on and off switch. I dont get it really they are $650.00 while echo 910 is $550.00 yet fall apart. Really will not go near this new Redmax which i believe is also near a whopping $800 , has quality issues plus will lose power I am sure like all my past Red max blowers!
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri I just want you to know that I think the Work you do is extremely important and you are a great person for helping others.
I bought the ebz9000 a few weeks ago. It’s very comfortable and powerful, but after having the 9010 and several other powerful blowers, I feel the throttle hesitate when I increase power. I hope it just needs a break in period. At full throttle it’s very powerful, not yet sure if I have a less than perfect machine for $799.
Very interesting. Once warmed up, I didn’t notice any hesitation in the throttle response. I’ve only ran this one for about an hour though. I will be putting a lot of time on it this Fall. How many hours do you think you have on yours so far? I wonder if there’s any way for a dealer to adjust for throttle response? Let me know if it clears itself up over time or if you still experience this issue. Appreciate the feedback!
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri Glad yours runs better. I have ran mine about 8-10 hours and still feel it can run smoother. I am afraid to bother the dealer again, as he already exchanged first blower for a new unit.
@jeffreymarks3724 oh wow. That’s not any good. I would think it would adjust to your environment a lot quicker than that. Still not exactly sure how it adjusts on the fly. But keep me updated this Fall. I will ask the Redmax reps at Equip Expo and see if they have suggestions.
What are you looking for in particular? It’s hard to show on camera the difference in blowing power. Is there anything else that you would like to see?
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri size and comparison. I love my 9010 but I will admit the tube is heavier. But I’m hearing the EBZ9000 is more comfy with the harness system?
Hello Cameron! Great video demonstrating the Remax EBZ9000! Here in our area we have had sprinkles off and on; but today we got the big rain all day long. I am not complaining at all; especially with so many dealing with the flooding and the high winds. I have been praying for those affected by Hurricane Helene. Take care and God bless you and your family. Have a wonderful weekend. Sincerely, Diane. 😊
Hey Diane! Thank you for the continued support. It rained all day long here. And more on the way! I feel bad for those down South. It sounds like Hurricane Helene did some major damage and so many without power. 🙏
Oh wow…I bet they are still running strong! This 9000 is much more comfortable than the 9010. More power as well. Blower tube feels nice and light. It’s gonna be fun this leaf season!
Is the tube as stiff and cumbersome as the echo? That's the main issue for me. I'll take a little less power (br800) over my echo wearing me out in lead season
The tube felt nice and comfortable for me. A lot better than the 9010. And I’m sure it will feel even better once I break it in. Gonna be a fun leaf season!
Ohhhhh Yeah! It's definitely ready to blow some leaves around this Fall. Gotta step up my leaf game and get ready for the Fall Cleanups. Thanks for watching!
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri good to hear and see you sir! Glad you are well and prospering.... We need to talk via phone sometime so I can express my gratitude for you and your channel.
So I see your close to getting your 20k from last time I left a comment. Hope so cause you deserve it. Btw what's the lbs on that not to mention comes winter you can actually blow the snow off instead of using a shovel before it the ground freeze 😊
Yeah, slowly but surely easing closer to 20k! I appreciate the support. This blower weighs in at 26.5lbs, which isn't bad at all for the power it packs. I've used the other blowers several times for snow removal. It works pretty good as long as the wind is in your favor lol. Thanks again for watching! More vids coming...
Once it has been run and is warm, you don't need to prime or use the start button just like most other BP's. The manual says to prime it only until you see fuel in the bulb. That's all it takes. IHTH
The key with this is to let it idle a few minutes when first starting. because it has that intelligent carb and it will adjust itself and then you’re good to go
@@JohnR9965 I don't have to do that. All you need to do is blip the throttle to drop it off the auto start button and mine is ready right away. I know someone else with one and he is having some similar issues with his though. It seems there may be a batch of carbs used very early in that are causing the problem. I may have just got lucky.
@@404nitromaybe. I have a few landscape stuff with the computerized carb and I found to just give it a minute it tunes in with the atmosphere and no running issues at all. Too much tech involved in simple stuff like this
How was your handle held together before it came apart? Mine has a lever just like a BR800X that you loosen to adjust the handle. I can't see how the handle could fall off either. I just went and looked at mine to check. If yours had that large red lever like mine, it should be easy to spot. That aside, I told you this thing was a beast! LOL Iyt'll get stronger up until you have about 7-10 full tanks through it too. I always set my new BP's at around 2/3 throttle and then goose it up to max every few minutes varying the rpm's until I have at least one tank through them. IME, it seems to make them run smoother and better for their life doing it like that.
Check it out at the 18:33 mark and you'll see the little lever that holds it on. It was on there before I started blowing lol, but the vibration must have caused it to loosen quickly and fall off. I went back and checked and it's no where to be found. It would be like finding a needle in a haystack with all of those leaves. I looked around and never found it. But the zip did the trick haha. You were definitely right on the money with this one. It packs a powerful punch for sure! Appreciate the continued support!
@@TheLawnCareLifeinMowssouri Being so new, I'm sure the dealer will make that right quickly for you. Thanks for making the video BTW. The more you run this thing, the more you will like it compared especially to the Echos and those front end heavy tubes. I like the harness on this 9000 too. I use both the chest and the waste straps for longer run times and it makes it feel several pounds lighter than it is, plus it makes it nice to bend over to pick up trash and sticks etc since the thing stays locked in place on your back.
I have owned a 9000 for a couple months or a bit longer now. I also have an 8560 RM, (same unit as Cam's 580 MK III), BR800 and an Echo 8010. They aren't close to the 9000 on heavy debris. I do like them all, but this is in a class by itself. Plus, the tube on this one is far easier to swing than the tubes on the two big Echo units.
Thanks for the recommendation. I think a comparison video would be cool as well, but I'm more into showing how all of the equipment works. The review vids comparing different products kinda puts me to sleep lol. There may be some good ones out there though. Appreciate you watching. Could you use a big backpack blower like this one???
I might purchase this leaf blower to pair with my Echo 8010 this leaf szn. It will be the blower for my helper or when I need a backup. Is it good for wet leaves too? Because my 8010 will blow just about anything.
