When I was over 500 pounds, my biggest fear was putting my family in a similar situation. I decided to have gastric bypass surgery and I’ve lost over 150 pounds so far and I’m still working on it.

My beloved hubby died from diabetes brought on from food addiction. My heart forever broken and I do blame myself for being a enabler. He was bedridden for five and a half yrs in a care home because he refused to adapt to a amputation. He lost his leg. He got down to the 200s when he passed. He was almost 500 at one point. He was 65.
Oh, dear I'm so sorry! I will say the fact that he got down that much before he passed at least shows that he was doing the work, and you were there to help. I believe losing the leg brought upon the depression that eventually led to the food addiction. It's always a reason why things happen the way they do. I hate you had to deal with that. From one widow to another, stay strong! 💪

maam, youre actually wrong. it aint bout her divorce.. she paraded around like she leveled herself outta a bad marriage to a lesser man and went on a podcast circuit victimizing herself. She actually did put him on front street boasting that she was the one who was the breadwinner and she was tired of it. As a married man, needing to "find yourself" and duck outta vows for the sake of a midlife identity crisis from a man's standpoint has always been utter BS to women..We cant do it. If yall(women) feel the need to redefine or reidentify yourself every 10 years then pls dont get married and dont have kids only to bust up the family. Lets not front, motherhood and wives are more heralded than fathers and husbands. Hope your husband is in the know u developing the same identity symptoms. I'm not "caping" for any dayum body. My whole point is that no one knows exactly what happened in their marriage for everybody to make snap judgements. I watched the podcasts and interviews and I just didn't see what all of y'all was seeing. Honestly, she seemed more vague and secretive than anything. It's no different when a man wakes up one day and realizes and does the same thing. And don't say that men don't do that, because they do. I have an family member that was married to his wife for 15 years, and one day up and decided he didn't love his wife no more. They divorced and he remarried a few years later. While it was something, I'm sure the family didn't agree with or approve of, that was his life. Apparently he didn't regret it. he did what he wanted to do regardless of how everybody else felt. Furthermore, my husband and I have had these conversations often. We've definitely had our challenges over the last 13 years, where it absolutely got ugly. While I did at one point in my life "herald those symptoms" as you so eloquently put it, I realized things about myself that I needed to fix, and I have done that. So, respectfully, don't come for me and my character over something you don't know about. I've been quite transparent about myself in other videos as well. I definitely was not perfect, but it took some years for me to see that. Hence, why I can understand where she is coming from. But God bless, and thank you for your input. 💗
She never said he did anything wrong,and what people are saying is don’t just up and leave and breakup the family because you tired of being married,people are talking because they don’t want other women to make that same mistake,because the older u get the dating market gets harder,and people also is talking about it because she is,she want people to talk about it if people are on her side,that’s why she go on talk shows and talk about it.but when people don’t talk in her favor it’s a problem.

But I'm speaking from a side that has been there and know how a woman can get to that point in their lives. I'm sure men also feel this same way, but since I'm not a man, I can't speak on that. Second, somebody gotta come to her defense dammit! I've watched numerous videos and posts about all this stuff she did, but I'm not seeing exactly what she did wrong. Other than the fact that she said she "graduated", which I don't get that part, I just am not seeing what else she did to cause her to be attacked so badly. And thirdly, yes, I'm speculating also because we don't know the facts, and prolly never will. I'm just going by what I am seeing, but apparently, we ain't seeing the same schitt. One more thing… Being a huge Prince fan , I knew and understood that he probably would not do it because he was only comfortable doing music his way, and he wasn’t conceited or anything like that( “ Leave Your Ego At The Door”) , he only worked with those that were familiar with him that way and knew how he wanted to work, if he was there he would have preferred to sing a line with Sheila over probably even Michael, and that’s another thing, would he have sang with it after Micheal( that’s what they wanted) . It was only a line , but I don’t know if Prince would have sang anything after MJ. They didn’t mention that Prince sent a song for the We Are The World album ( 4 The Tears In Your Eyes ) , and wrote a song about the situation ( Hello) ..
Two things I wanted to know , why didn’t they let Smokey sing when Prince didn’t show, and did Waylon Jennings ever regret leaving the studio like he did ? Also I bet other legendary singers probably regretted they weren’t called or was not at the American Music Awards. Can you imagine that Aretha , Gladys, Barbara ,Chaka , Dolly, Micheal McDonald, Pat Benatar, Patti LaBelle , Donna Summer,,m James Brown, Luther Vandross, Barbara Mandrell, members of The Bee Gees, the other members of Fleetwood Mac, member of other bands like The Eagles, Alabama, Earth Wind & Fire, Cameo, The Gap Band, Def Leppard, The Cars, etc, etc, all were NOT there? I get what you’re saying but a lot men date younger not because of intact uterus’ sis. They date younger women because they are easier to manipulate and some are actual creeps dating fresh outta high school. Don’t forget there a very young women/girls with one or two babies before they’re even in their 20s
@itsclarissa1478 and that is also true. I may not have mentioned that in the moment, but I do agree. But if you notice most men used to say the younger women are less likely to have excess kids and baggage (not in these days anymore, I know). It was different when i was in my 20s as opposed to today. Thank you for the input love 💗

My daughter and I constantly talked about the importance of making smart decisions while she grew up. She has had multiple love interests, but she refuses to be pressured into sex just for the sake of having sex. She's waiting for the just the right one to come along. Now, if she could only learn not to make mountains out of mole hills. 😂
@GoKreKre It really is terrifying, especially in today's day and age. We just have to trust we did the best we could and let them make their own mistakes. We were that hard headed once too, and had to learn everything the hard way. 😉 It builds character and resilience.
