Tim Green's "Nothing Left Unsaid" is a weekly podcast hosted by Tim and Troy Green. Tim is a former first round NFL draft pick, member of the College Football Hall of Fame, New York Times #1 Bestselling Author, former Fox broadcaster, NPR contributor, family man, ALS advocate, and so much more.

Each week, Tim and Troy will sit down with interesting people to have thoughtful conversations. The guests will range from celebrities, athletes, academics, doctors, authors, and more. As Tim battles his ALS diagnosis, nothing is out of bounds and there will be nothing left unsaid.

This podcast is slightly edited in two ways:
(1) To remove any downtime it takes for Tim to say his thoughts by using a communicator device
(2) To use the most up-to-date technology for Tim's voice

I have heard Historians say "don't judge the actions and accomplishments of people in the past by today's standards". In the world of the NFL I think Aikman is one of the biggest victims of that. If I am making an All-Time NFL team, Troy would be on it, maybe not the starter, but on the roster for sure. Why? Simple, just like Norv Turner said "Because I want to win". Folks seem to forget about that stat: Winning, when they think of all time greats. Lots of players in NFL history have put up what I like to call "empty calorie" stats. Their numbers are good, but yet ther teams don't win. Aikman was not an empty calorie QB. He played well, his team won. Simple as that. That is also the reason why I would have Irvin, Smith, Johnston, and even Harper on that team. Their stats lead to winning. I could break that down more, but here is another thing to talk about: Johnson stays Aikman might be in that "GOAT" conversation, and Dallas would win 5 total Super Bowls in the 90s. Aikman really hit his stride halfway of the 92 season, and between that halfway point and up til the Cowboys played the 49ers in the '94 season, if you include playoffs, Aikman had like 50 TDs to 18 INTS. He was on fire for that stretch. I think not having Johnson there in '94 finally broke him in that game vs San Francisco and for the rest of his career, as he would begin a pattern of starting each season out Red Hot, and then crashing in the 2nd half of each season. Go look at each individual season numbers for Aikman. That is what happened from 94-99. Troy had to play the role of QB AND Disciplinarian to the team. It was too much for him. Jimmy stays then Troy stays as the '95 seasons Passer Rating leader, he continues his unreal TD-INT ratio in the1st half of the '97 season of 11-3 into the 2nd half, and he maintains his Passer Rating of 99 into the 2nd half of the '98 season. If Jimmy stays Dallas wins 4 straight and again in 1998. They literally almost did in '94 even without Jimmy. A few key plays swung that game. Dallas still would have had the down years in '96 and '97, due to injuries. Novacek retiring and the "370 Rule" finally caught up to Smith. Jimmy would not have stopped injuries from happening. But he would have drafted Moss in '98, and that would have catapulted the offense back to the top of the NFL as the defense was actually still really good for the rest of the decade. No repeat in '99 as once again Jimmy being there would not have stopped Irvin from getting injured. Also, just a side note, Aikman is the only QB in NFL history to complete 60% or more of his passes who did not: 1. play in the % freindly West Coast system, 2. In Today's pass happy/protect the QB at all cost NFL, or 3. a combo of both. In my mind he is the most accurate passer in NFL history.

He just didn’t have enough longevity to come close to the top 10. Also, he only played about 5 years at absolute peak. Now if you were to judge QBs by their 5 year peak, Aikman would be WAY higher than he is.

I am an atheist. I define atheism as suspending any acknowledgment as to the reality of any particular god until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. My position is that *_I have no good reason to acknowledge the reality of any god._* And here is why I currently hold to such a position. Below are 10 facts I must consider when evaluating the claim made by certain theists that some god exists in reality. To be clear, these are not premises for any argument concluding there to be no gods. These are simply facts I must take into account when evaluating such a claim. 1. I personally have never observed a god. 2. I have never encountered any person who has claimed to have observed a god. 3. I know of no accounts of persons claiming to have observed a god that were willing or able to demonstrate or verify their observation for authenticity, accuracy, or validity. 4. I have never been presented a valid logical argument that also employed sound premises that lead deductively to a conclusion that a god(s) exists in reality. 5. Of the many logical syllogisms I have encountered arguing for the reality of a god(s), I have found all to contain either logical fallacies or false or unsubstantiated premises. 6. I have never observed a phenomenon in which the existence of a god was a necessary antecedent for the known or probable explanation for the causation of that phenomenon. 7. Several proposed (and generally accepted) explanations for observable phenomena that were previously based on the agency of a god(s), have subsequently been replaced with rational, natural explanations, each substantiated with evidence that excluded the agency of a god(s). I have never encountered _vice versa._ 8. I have never experienced the presence of a god through intercession of angels, divine revelation, the miraculous act of divinity, or any occurrence of a supernatural event. 9. Every phenomenon that I have ever observed has *_emerged_* from necessary and sufficient antecedents over time without exception. In other words, I have never observed a phenomenon (entity, process, object, event, process, substance, system, or being) that was created _ex nihilo_ - that is instantaneously came into existence by the solitary volition of a deity. 10. All claims of a supernatural or divine nature that I have encountered have either been refuted to my satisfaction or do not present as falsifiable. ALL of these facts lead me to the only rational conclusion that concurs with the realities I have been presented - and that is the fact that there is *_no good reason_* for me to acknowledge the reality of any god. I have heard often that atheism is the denial of the Abrahamic god. But denial is the active rejection of a substantiated fact once credible evidence has been presented. Atheism is simply withholding such acknowledgment until sufficient credible evidence is introduced. *_It is natural, rational, and prudent to be skeptical of unsubstantiated claims, especially extraordinary ones._* I welcome any cordial response. Peace.
