It also comes with an extra $10,000 price tag, and reports your driving habits to your insurance company, to make sure you pay extra in insurance premiums.
Since the TRD Pro Tacoma isn't out yet it can only be co.pared to a TRD Off Road Tacoma. Even with every possible option the Tacoma is $10,000 cheaper than the Colorado. I'm sorry but I am NEVER paying $10k more for a Chevrolet. Even the TRD Pro will probably be cheaper. Then it is even less of a no brainer.
It depends…if I had the money then brand new I would take the Tacoma. After 15 years and buying used then the stupid Toyota tax will get me looking at this Colorado.
When I last worked at a Toyota dealership om 2017, every tacoma already had skid plates as standard. The TRD Pro got a really thick skid plate. Meanwhile most american trucks only get skid plates if you get a dedicated off road trim. Toyota every day of the week.
If only FORD would manufacturer engines and transmission that dont self implode after 50- 75k miles, that would be a START in the direction of quality. But until Ford decides to build with quality...NO MORE FORDS for me. Fyi, JEEP quality (now) is very poor and over priced, no more Jeeps for me either...I think YOU know what I'm buying...look at sales numbers 😅.... Good luck, best wishes
Nope , frame will be rotten un 6 years. Its not built to handle nor does it need 35s. If you think it pulls tacomas out you have never been to places like moab and seen what really gets driven there. Tacoma will outlast it in everyway. Toyota has a reputation thats solid and respected gm ehhh. You sell cars you donr "know" cars.
frame will be rotten in a lot less than 6 years if it actually gets used for what its made for. knowing gm though, the engine will probably give out long before that, as anything from them besides the LS series is crap.
