You can if you want. Either way you have to remove the whole piece assembly out to replace the park button. You buy it new, the switch come as a whole piece unit.
Hi ! I have p1450 issues on my 2015 ford fusion titanium.About 2 years ago our mechanic replaced purge valve canister…About a month ago same issue happened again. And also After quarter tank I am hearing burping sound from my gas tank while I was driving. As soon as I hurt this burping sound I stopped the car and o insert my finger into the gas cap for taking the air outside from the gas tank.Another issue is also when I fill it up the tank the car don’t start at first..I try second time and start.Do you have any idea what is the main problem on this car ? Thank you !
Excellent video. I have a question for you. I have a 2012 Rogue with a MAF problem p01 01 code. The Nissan dealer replaced the MAF. I replaced the air cleaner. I did not replace the PCV valve yet. The dealer I go to tells me they cannot fix the problem any more than they have because they do not have a Master Technician??? I am going to have to travel a ways to get a dealer with a Master Technician. The engine light has gone on twice now. It is supposedly fixed now. If not and the light goes on again and the car seems to run fine I want to turn off the engine light. I purchased a Walmart Hyper Tough HT 100 code reader. It is not much on instructions. It connects with your phone via Blue Tooth to give an explanation of the code. I do not need an explanation and I just want to turn off the engine light. My question is, do I have to use the Blue Tooth feature with the HT 100 or can I just plug it to the plug in the car, turn the ignition to on, read the code, and push the red button to clear the code?? Thank you, Tom Spero
I have never use a bluetooth code reader to clear code. You could have ask autozone or oreilly to clear the check engine light for free. As far as the code p0101, after replaced the maf sensor, the computer (ecm) needs to be refresh or reprogram.
Good morning! So i have a 2017 Altima as well...i had the same problem but as soon as another fuse was used, it blew immediately. That's was about a month ago. Today my heat and air won't turn on. The display screen is also out and the outside temperature does not register. But the control lights for the HVAC system are on . Do you have any Ideas of what's going on and will the repair be expensive?
If you put the fuse in and it blow, that means the radio unit itself is bad internally. You have to replace the radio, cost around $400 to $600 depend on the part. The ac unit cold be part of the radio too, cost around $200 $300.
Thanks. This video helped me identify where the B1S1 O2 sensor is and how to get to it. It would be nice to see the whole process of breaking loose the old O2 sensor and the install of the new O2 sensor. Those were the things I struggled with. To break loose the O2 sensor, I couldn't get much of a turn on the ratchet. I eventually got one click on the ratchet which allowed me to break the O2 sensor loose. I had a hard time getting my hand between the oil pan and the drive shaft. I actually had to use my left hand and went between the exhaust and drive shaft to finish loosening the O2 sensor. On the install, I could get the O2 senser in the right spot but had a hard time threading it because I could barely reach it with my hands. I was able to eventually get it threaded and then tighten it one click at a time with the ratchet. A little more clearance for my hand and enough clearance to get a few clicks on the ratchet would have worked wonders for me and greatly reduced my install time.
Hey bro, my Camaro hums from what seems right behind the radio from inside the car, it hums when I turn the ac on, why could it be humming?? It’s very annoying
Not much you can do. The moist build up on the inside of the HVAC box, over time it build up water. You can replace the CABIN AIR FILTER for the ac, the filter prevent any debris or dirty things or any build up going inside the car. The filter is located behind the glove box. Filter cost $25.
Have huge issue with my 02 rx300. Lean codes now. Wouldn't set codes before and no power. Replaced vacuum control valve for Intake runner. That works now but its worse now. No power at all and setting p0171 p0174 now
Well done, but let me throw this out. 2 zip ties connecting the first intact link on each side of a broken link works wonderfully well and I haven't broken one in 2 years. 5 minute. 0$
Electronic parking brake is one of the stupidest "innovations" to add to a car. It really adds no value, but adds more problems than it solves. Should stay with a physical manual emergency/parking brake.
@ah duuu My '14 blows warmish air when the A/C is on full but everything checks out fine - could it be the blend door? The heat is warmish when on full too. Thanks
The middle blend door is broken VERY COMMON PROBLEM. Part cost $30. Labor is 11 hours removing dashboard. If you do it at the dealership, cost around $2,500 to $3,000. If you do back yard mechanic, the cheap way is to cut a hole in the hvac box. Search it up on RU-vid.
Awesome bud 👍👍 My daughters has just started showing the code and light so I’ll have to get myself a new clock spring and rip into it. Thanks for sharing the vid bud
Thanks for the help on this had the same issue with hot blowing out the drivers side and cold on the passenger replacing that fixed it. I will say this though to anyone wanting to tackle this themselves I hope you have small hands and are a contortionist I had a heck of a time replacing it lol.
My 2012 Ford fusion blows hot air on both sides. It's got plenty of freon and there's no leak so that's not the issue. The compressor does not kick on however the compressor works according to a relative bc they said they were able to jumpstart the compressor (their words) and it turned on. Could the motor you're talking about in the video be the issue? I know certain conditions have to be met to make the compressor kick on I just don't know if this has anything to do with it. Thanks for any help!
My rear hatch is opening manually. On my 2014 highlander. Checked the button next to glove box. & made sure back window was closed & locked. I'm pulling it open manually, does that mean the elec actuators are faulty?
Thank you! Saved me a lot of time and money. My truck had codes for O2 sensors. I changed two of them and seemed to run ok for a while. Then it started idling after driving it a short distance. I checked the purge valve and sure enough I could blow air through it. Swapped it out for a new one ($35) in 5 minutes, and now it’s running just fine.
With the new module, you have to recalibrate it using scanner. Because the module can read cars and objects and few blindspots around it when anything is close by.
