midnight should've been when troy, abed, and annie(well she's late tho) wear the same shirt as jeff and try to say the same thing as jeff. But yeah can't deny its a bottle episode
This is my favorite show of all time. And I love all these moments from the show. But I get even more excited and love it even more. Just to have the Doctor who titles for episode. Underline over these moments, my f****** God.
Although I have to say I think the one you did for end of time. Better fits the 11th doctors farewell. I mean if it's almost every Doctor's farewell but I think the 11th the most. I mean, if we got a teaser in the episode before about the 12th Doctor and then he's saying throughout the entire episode. This is the time I die here. And I die forever no coming back. Then he saves everyone by dying/Exploding And then comes back.
Damn. Who knew Community could almost perfectly summarise every episode of Doctor Who. I imagine Community has something for everything though, given its basically 100% pop culture references.
Fun fact: Despite being a bottle episode, Midnight was incredibly complicated to film, since it required building an entirely new set and a hell of a lot of rehearsals and retakes to get the line syncing scenes right.
Women's sports are vitally important and should be supported just as much as men's sports. However, I started thinking. The far majority of men's sports are supported by men, who are buying tickets to the games and by buying licensed merchandise. Personally I could not think of one lady I know that supported women's sports. I would then watch WNBA games here in the United States and the arenas are almost completely empty. Ladies are not supporting their fellow women's sports. This topic needs to be further examined. Here in the states ladies are the biggest consumers of goods and services. These ladies are more than willing to pay for a Taylor Swift concert but appear to be unwilling to invest in lady's sports by the means of ticket sales or merchandise.
Because women in general don't care about sports. And truly the only way men would care about women's sports is if they competed naked. That's the only reason that men even pretend to care about beach volleyball. Men and women are different, and that's fine.
Kerblam is some kind of capitalist dystopia but the doctor and the story want you to be on it's side. it's insane, especially when you consider how hard the rest of the era's politics pander (limply) to progressives, then there's this one story that has *The Doctor*, champion of the people and enemy of authoritarianism, is a massive shill for a megacorporation.
These clips fit so perfectly with the synopsis for each episode of Doctor Who, you've made it seem as if the shows were made for each other. Never in a million years would I think I'd see my two favorite shows crossover in the same video, but you've done it and it's the funniest vid I've watched in a long time!
Love your video! Love how you broke it all down. The only thing I disagree with is you liking "Demons of the punjab". I HATED it. Probably more than that "Orphan *insert number" episode. Being a punjabi Muslim I was hoping to feel something, but instead I felt empty and annoyed. They squandered some deep, dark and life changing history! Such a shame!!!
Really enjoyed this video! I'm not normally interested in discussion around ships in media but appreciated your analytical and academic approach (and the dry sense of humour!)
Of course Yaz and the Doctor wasn't set up. This Doctor is too distant and childishly quirky to start a romance, in my opinion, but even aside from that, it's only mentioned offhandedly twice. It's something some fans would want, but fans will ship from no evidence, so that doesn't matter. (All of this is also ignoring my own opinion that the Doctor shouldn't be with anyone, since they and any Earthling are fundementally too different to be a match.)
"Halloween! Trick or Treat :D" *Scary orchestra hit and horrified Doctor* Possibly the most unintentionally funny moment in Doctor Who. When I think that the BBC saw the show and decided to bring back RTD to revive it, it brings me hope that at least they knew this was awful as well; there's SOME self-awareness. I feel so bad for all the actors, set designers, prop masters, Segun etc for the hundreds of hours poured into something where the end product was so terrible. It must be so disheartening. As for us as an audience, it's been a long 5 year wait for good story telling to return to Doctor Who, but it will feel amazing when it does. I'm so excited!!
