Yes Margaret...we are having lovely cool weather...the heat has not arrived yet...do not like summer...I'm a cool rug up person...hope your weather is how you like it.
I am so sorry and I feel so stupid. My husband figured out what was wrong with my card. I was trying to make the box of main base to flatten both directions instead of only the 51/2 way. Please forgive me .
@@cathykline348 Let’s determine the problem! Does the box on the main card base fold flat before you add the top box panel? If yes (it does fold) but it doesn’t fold after adding the top, the placement of the top may need to be adjusted. I just made a sample using the dimensions provided in the description and the box folded with no issues so the dimensions are correct indicating that placement of the top panel maybe preventing closure.
I tried this car twice and the box wouldn't fold flat. Relooked at the video again, rechecked my scores and all was right, but it still won't fold flat.love this fun folds, I wish it would work for me.
Margaret - My family lived in the Columbus & Pine Mountain areas of Georgia for about 15 years. I well remember the heat and humidity for much of the year. We now live in New Hampshire, and believe it or not, it was 97 degrees today. Oh Well....
@@patriciafarrell424 Oh my, the New Hampshire weather temperature sounds like our weather in GA! Hopefully it won’t last too long for you. We had beautiful weather in Spring with comfortable temperatures for longer than normal but since mid-June, true Georgia weather with heat and humidity made it’s return. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
I had to edit my comment. It didn't do justice to how much I appreciate this video on this set. My niece got married in the Caribbean and coincidentally her colors were dusty blue and White. She asked me to make thank you cards for her co-workers. This is perfection. 😍
Love the card. Cutting apart the shells is a great idea. Couldn't see a lot of what you were doing. Need to refocus your camera so we can see better. Thanks for a great idea
Thank you for your comments. As this was one of my early videos, I was (& still am) learning how to stay in the camera view. What I am able to view vs was is actually showing aren’t always the same. Fortunately, I have improved! Again, thank you & I am glad you like the card.
The dies are great but occasionally it’s fun to stamp the hat outline (especially on designer paper) & then die cut. Glad you found this tip useful and thank you for commenting!
That is beautiful. The watercolor pencils give it a softer look than using ink. I have everything to do this so I will try making a card. It would also be pretty to put in a picture frame.
Hi Annabella, There are two dies used on the project: The Christmas Pinecone Dies and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I have added links to the project materials in the description. The Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (#156292) has been temporarily retired and will be returning in July! Thank you for commenting and if you have any additional questions, let me know.
