for some reason is not working, it only want to give me a free credit report, it doesn't give me the option to skip. i called them I can only talk to the machine, it does not send me to talk to a human.
I bought a 2 terabyte drive. It failed on day one. I sent it back, they gave me a 5 terabyte drive in return. It has an external power supply instead of being powered by USB. I prefer that, so it has sufficient power. It works great. I had it in storage from 2017 until two weeks ago. It still works, and I like the archival material that was on it.
hello im planning on my first U-haul Rental, i wanna know if did you drive to the location to pick up the rental or you rode Uber? If you drove do they have a parking for personal cars who just rent for a couple of hours? thankyou
I didn't see the direct link for Experian in your description just their general website address. So I got it from your video, but they are still making me jump through hoops. I don't care how many ways I login, their website wants me to fill out a free order for my credit report! It's ridiculous!
I already have a paid acct with experian, my credit is frozen. Had an old defunct acct with transunion and was able to get my credit frozen without paying fee. Same with equifax, didnt pay still get credit frozen. Boom😊
Yes, if you are doing a "Freeze". If you are doing a "Fraud Alert", you only have to do it with one credit agency and that agency will notify the other two.
@@skyforce95 This person is not spreading false info. When you contact any of the 3 major credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion to put Fraud Alerts on your credit, the credit bureau you contacted are required to tell the other two credit bureaus that a fraud alert has been placed on your credit report. Not only have I heard this from victims of fraud, I recently had a Fraud Alert put on my credit at Equifax and their website says they will inform Experian and TransUnion. To get a Credit Freeze, however, you must contact these credit bureaus individually.
@@karimaogden3875 You are correct. If you get a "Fraud Alert" at one credit bureau, they are required to inform the other two credit bureaus. However, to get a "Credit Freeze," you must request these individually from each credit bureau.
Awesome !! thx ! loved how hard it was to find the information on Experian, especially how they are fully trying to take advantage of people by trying to get them to pay! Shame on you Experian !! oh and the Equifax comment you made... spot on.. If you can't simply log into a website..... lol Thanks for the help !!
Thank you so much for showing us that the procedures are not complicated. I had a hard time finding Security freeze on Experian. I had to go to "Security Lock". There is a warning of "Experian CreditLock is a separate service from security freeze." The link to security freeze is in the warning sentence.
Why people have to use your link to get to the freeze page? If you really care about people that much then why you not showing people how to navigate to the freeze page after logging in?
Experian is the absolute worst---the site is clearly set up to NOT help people easily freeze their credit and to instead push users to fee-for-service "credit lock" options. It's disgusting. No one asked them to manage our credit in the first place and then they try to hold our information hostage. God help people who are not finally literate or tech savvy. People--you DON'T need to pay for credit protection. "Credit freezing" is free by law. If they are trying to charge you for "credit lock" decline it--it's not the same thing. All you need to do is freeze it.
thanks for the info, one of the few videos I came across that showed what to do rather than just talking about it. tranu and experian definitely the easiest to freeze. I ended up trying the Equifax phone number since I also was getting 'try again' type messages from their online portal after creating an account. The phone was a basic IVR that I asked to freeze my credit when prompted. it then asked to confirm information that was entered in the portal - phone, address etc. Then it lets you freeze and sends you a text confirmation............. still waiting for the portal to load to 2x confirm it. whos here having fun because of that latest social security hack/leak? 🥲
