Don't underestimate the ability of a bad hitting coach to mess up a good hitter. Suwinsky and Davis with Bae need real instruction at the MLB level......remember Jose Bautista.....
I had such high hopes for this team this year but today while looking at the standings we are in last place , that just reminded me that we will never be a playoff team if Bob Nutting is our owner..
This is such a bad take. They took a series against the Dodgers and are literally 1.5 games from 2nd place. We can win a series against the Cardinals next week and be in 2nd place.
@@thedark1ownsdo you really think Bob Nutting will spend money if we are in contention bud? Bob Nutting has insisted to have players get sent down to the minors when they are playing well just so he can save $100,000. Bob Nutting will sacrifice a winning season to save a few thousand dollars.. I really hope your not defending Bob Nutting 😂😂😂
😅Joey Bart is doing great, but I was just curious about Keller and his catcher preference choice. I remember the old Carlton-McCarver tandem on the Phillies.
500 ball low expectations dude i only want div title and playoffs ...nothing dhort will do sucking since 92 is gettin fn old get skenes up here sick and tired of mediocrity GET HIM UP HERE
Very nice podcast. Is this just a podcast that happens to be on RU-vid? I'm surprised because sub count is surprisingly low. Maybe if a face was shown it would grow. Us humans are weird. Great stuff. I subbed. Go Bucs
Harrington’s FB is a plus pitch. It’s the closest to that elusive “invisiball” that everyone is looking for. It’s’ 93/94 mph but the rise/carry is elite.
well that's an appropriate name for this show because that's the only place the bucs are going to finish in yet again this year thanks to ben and his usual garbage acquisitions.
Counter proposal: Two solid starters (preferably one southpaw) One good defensive power left handed hitting first baseman One legit center fielder, though the bat, arm and glove should be enough to justify shifting Jack Z to right where he's at his best
What about Henry in RF, move Jack to 1B (platoon with Joe), and get a CF? Let 2B be an in-house competition. Then spend more on 2 SPs, and add 1 quality LHP in bullpen.
Should the Pirates have drafted Henry Davis number one overall to be a hitting right fielder? Because I said even back then that they should’ve picked a pitcher or outfield prospect with power….. but maybe I’m just looking at this thing from a different perspective
This is why I was down on the Henry Davis pick because I thought that they would have them toil in the minors learning how to catch and I felt like they needed a picture to add to their Prospect pool who can be a legitimate Ace or #2 starter. I'm glad I was wrong about them making Henry Davis toil in the minors learning how to catch but they still didn't get a big-time picture like they could have got
I don’t want them messing around. Just pay Crews, or Skenes, or whoever they want. This is the year to get a generational talent. No games, just draft him and pay him.
Andy Haines has done some work with these guys and you can physically see if you watch the games. Guys are seeing more pitches and not just watching them, but really driving their pitch and working the ball all over the park
