Hi, I am Chest, I am a French author/composer/singer and musician. Passionate about symphonic, melodic and epic Metal, discover my pop covers in Metal version !
Thanks for your opinion, I still have several remixes to propose but I chose this one first because it works very well in France currently. Chest Covers does not stop (not yet) but I need to test other things and do different things ;)
@@DerKlemm-Crafter You know my channel will be 10 years old in a few months and nothing is happening, or very slowly, too slowly. RU-vid refuses to promote me... Music takes up a lot of time in my life, my social life, and a little stress too. I sometimes force myself to post things, without necessarily wanting to. The channel will not stop, because I love music too much and because I respect the people who like my work :) But the pace will greatly decrease, there will still be things, sometimes ... Anyway, I will think about all that in 2025, I still have things to propose between now and then 🤘
Jean François ? Ça fait des années que je te recherche mon ami ! 😃 Ecris moi en privé a cette adresse pour qu'on reprenne contact : chest.compo@gmail.com
Dude this was great! Really dark. Love it. If you want to collaborate on anything let me know. I'm a guitar player and have a studio, program drums, etc.
Ever since he was banished, the creature blindly wondered if the dark twigs of the forest, the speckled sunlight guiding him on his way, he engulfed every sunburn in his shimmering throat as if he had never tasted nor seen such beauty. For even with dirty feet, torn by wandering brambles and a halo of hair that has now turned into a mane, he has found his belief in the setting sun. Eventually, however, this journey came to an end. Not distinct, but with one breath, the blind man knew that the immortal world he had known for all his many years had drifted away from his mortal body. The swamp men and their gem-decorated trees echoing in the breeze, the ethereal handmaids of the earth singing seductive melodies, every bird song he was accustomed to had ceased. He had finally gone to the next world. It was dark in here, and it smelled of the wet and shady valley 🌺🕊
This isn't a Josh Groban cover, as he himself covered it. This song belongs to Secret Garden ... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EJqME9LQCRw.html
@@chestmetalcovers I would have thought the Westlife cover was more well known, however, it's only fair and appropriate that the original artist is credited.
I hated all the liberal bull crap at the Olympics but as a drummer who use to be really into metal I felt cold chills for those guys that must have been an overwhelming amount of awesomeness playing there Gorija my hat is off to ya well done when the crowd cheers louder than the band then a magical thing just took place
Isn't this disrespecful to the deseased Marie Antoinette? Marie Antoinette was a real person who suffered a violent death, using her image in a potentially sensational or entertainment-focused context could be seen as lacking respect.
@@arthurballs9632 My point is more about how they choose to portray these figures today. Using her image in this way that trivializes or sensationalizes her suffering can still be seen as disrespectful. It's about finding a balance between exploring history and respecting the people who lived through it.
I was wondering the same thing... in a way, it is simply part of French History, and so you can imagine depicting it without considering it "good" or "bad", it may even be part of the pop culture, besides it also fits in well with the Metal genre. And even if it's a clear reference to Marie Antoinette, many other nobles were guillotined and we can imagine that it doesn't have to be her. But yes, it remains disturbing, given that it is the building in which she was imprisoned before being guillotined.
When they say "may you live in interesting times" this is the music I want to see playing amidst the gloom. As a teen I was ridiculed in my small town for liking metal, and as an adult love metal and classical music equally. I can only imagine all the kids and generations of viewers maybe seriously rocking out in all corners of the world to this. At this point in history, this unexpected perfect song and just the entire atmosphere was so hard, metal, and marvelous!
