Hey, everyone... What is this documentary called? I really want to see full version of it!! I saw this clip with Mamie talking about Jayne's death back in 2016 and with the years it was deleted. My friends even started joking at me that I caught a Mandela effect and Mamie never said this, but God bless you, here it is! At the end of the day it wasn't a Mandela effect.
Jayne was good in this as she had previously shown in rhe burglar and before that in female jungle after these performances she cemented herself as a comedic actress
I never knew Jane Mansfield had more children after her marriage with Mickey Hargitay. Her son is so attractive, which shouldn't be a surprise. I was just saying on another video of Jane how sad it was for her children to lose their mom at such a young age. That must be so hard on a child. It's hard not having a father but losing your mom as a kid. I don't think you ever get over that. It has long-term damage, I believe.😢
Vernessa Mitchell had a moderately successful career in Gospel music, including a couple of club songs hits with an inspirational message. Barbara Mitchell has had a few solo releases/albums out over they years; Michelle Martin Rumph suffered some sort of a nervous breakdown during the rehearsals for "Motown 25" and was replaced at the last minute by a friend of Linda Howard's named Pat Douglas (who only had about an hour's rehearsal time--if you watch High Inergy's segment on "Motown 25" you can see Pat looking over at Linda for cues; and sadly, Linda Howard passed away a few years ago not long after finally releasing her first & only solo single "I'm Not Mad At You" (available on RU-vid).

When Vernessa Mitchell, the former lead singer of High Inergy left the group sometime in early 1979, her sister Barbara Mitchell, took over as the lead singer on the remainder of the albums until the group was dropped by Motown Records and disbanded in 1983. Barbara took on a solo career in 1984.
This girl group from Pasadena, CA released eight albums for Motown’s subsidiary label, Gordy: Turnin’ On (1977), Steppin’ Out (1978), Shoulda Gone Dancin’ (1979), Frenzy (1979), Hold On (1980), High Inergy (1981), Right On (1982) and Groove Patrol (1983). The members are Barbara Mitchell, Vernessa Mitchell, Linda Howard and Michelle Martin.
When I was in the 10th grade I bought this album and played it until the grooves were nubs! I recall riding with an older friend to check out his (possible) college campus that fall and we played this album the whole time! It was my first time seeing a college campus and all these students were hanging out, playing football, having parties, throwing a Frizzbee, and all that with no parents around! I was shocked, then thrilled! I couldn't wait for a couple of years to go by so I could go myself!! Turning On will always be part of that cherished teenage memory!
