Thank you to both teams for capturing these images despite the grueling temperature. Learning about these ants and seeing them in action was amazing.

Wow whole comment section full of bug eaters. Yikes. Anybody heard of Chitin? You are what you eat. Eat animals you'll be a manimal eat insects and... Well you know the rest. You can be a male and eat bugs but you can't be a man and eat bugs 🤭 But hey more power to ya. The more of you like it the more real food left for me. Eat up ya bunch of frogs and gollums 🤮

Why Do They Really Want Us To Eat Insects? Approximate Profits: Cattle - Profit: $1.10/pound Chickens - Profit: $0.56/pound Pigs - Profit: $1.29/pound Fish - Profit: $2.60/pound Dried Larvae Profit: Up to $7.63/pound Fresh Larvae Profit: Up to $6.25/pound Ground Insect Meal Profit: Up to $38.54/pound (pet food) It's not about conservation and sustainability. It's about profit.

The creature cases featured a silver ant in one of their episodes, and even though it’s a solid show, I do think that the episode was God awful, it was painful to watch, and as a victim of heat stroke, I felt quite offended by it. It was the only episodes of the show that the characters Complain about the heat, and it was also the longest I’ve ever seen them run alongside a silver ant, we can all agree that exercising in any type of condition is painful enough, but doing it in a desert during the middle of summer. Guys, the episode had a message about never giving up, that could’ve worked if they were aiming towards something else, but they decided to have their characters run in a fricking desert and it showed to have no negative effect on any of them. And even though the show is aim towards four-year-olds, four-year-olds are incredibly gullible, and upon seeing this episode, they might get the impression that it’s safe to exercise in a 50° summer and then what happens. I don’t even know what was going through the creators minds, but we can all agree that the more you move the more hotter Your body gets, I wouldn’t even be using never give up in a situation like that, you will more than give up sprinting in a desert, that can easily result in your death

Leafcutter ants, members of the Atta phyllosis genus, demonstrate an exceptional level of eusociality characterized by a complex caste system and sophisticated communication modalities involving chemotactic and vibrational signaling. Their foraging behavior entails a meticulous selection of phyllosic substrates, which are precisely dissected into manageable fragments for transportation to subterranean mycocultures. These mycocultures, primarily comprised of the symbiotic genera Fungusaeus and Mycosymbion, function as the principal nutritive reservoir for the colony, fostering a synergistic relationship with the ants. Leafcutter ants exhibit remarkable ecological adaptability, employing diverse defense mechanisms against antagonists and pathogens, including the secretion of antimicrobial peptides and the deployment of morphologically specialized soldier castes. Recent investigations have shed light on the presence of endosymbiotic microorganisms, notably the phyla Actinobacteriae and Pseudomycota, within leafcutter ant nests, elucidating their pivotal role in colony homeostasis and ecological resilience.

It's sad that the world so conceived by the devil he will make a fool out of you if you let him. We're not designed to eat bugs, and God didn't say it that way. The world is caught up in their own weird thing. They don't read the Bible. They don't know about the Bible. You can't save the world. It wasn't designed to be saved. God controls the world. He determines when it's end and, how long it stays. You have no power over this planet. Only God Almighty does. Eating bugs is not going to save the world. You're just making a fool of yourself, basically. Stop being dumb. Stop being used by the devil. Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega

Looks like a real bad idea, to me. I could see taking on a colony of omnivorous ants, but with the leaf cutters you have to cut up trees and bring branches in. You have to let them cut up the leaves, else you're altering their behavior. I hope valid things were learned.

32:23 Where was the queen in the raft of fire ants? How did the colony on the raft restart without the queen? In the main experiment it would have been interesting to see it continue longer to when the males left for a new queen. Also what happens when ants from another colony compete for the same food?
