Amazing how many "greats" were created out of chaos, accident, craziness, non-planning, altered state of minds, etc...... People, songs, everything from A to Z ❤....
If this is what accidental chaos sounds like.......I'll take it. It reminds me of "I Feel For You" by Chaka Khan and the story behind her name being repeated at the beginning.....🤯😮
Indeed there were super popular and massive hits from P-Funk THANG prior to the 80's. Atomic Dog introduced George Clinton and the legendary P-Funk crew to a new generation of kids. Atomic Dog was the fuel that shot hip hop out of a cannon into another cultural musical era. Thus so many millions of hip hop fans and artists, did their due diligence and had their socks knocked off when they introduced themselves to the P-Funk back catalouge. George Clinton helped produce another masterpeice even when he was too stoned to do so!
All of the P-Funk Nation deserve all the love, credit, & glory for taking funk beyond space. From George, Bootsy, Gary, Eddie, Bernie, Michael, Glenn, Maceo every one of em!!!
I admit when I first heard it way back in 82 I said what is this silly 'lil ditty off of Computer Games? Man's Best Friend was my jam. I didn't think much of it at all. Then one night I heard it on some great big speakers at a party. That's when it bit me.
Lol... i was scared for them also. To me Trombipulation with Agony of Defeet was the last big hit. Hard for me to imagine George without Parliament or Funkadelic. Remember buying Computer games on Vinyl just for atomic dog. Loopzilla was also a tight track he still had it and could go solo as long as he had Worrell in his back pocket
So you mean to tell me he just started saying some crazy shit to a backwards track and they recorded this and made a song out of it. And he didn't even remember what the hell he said. 🤣😂😂😂👍👍👍👍
