I recently discovered that "stepped drill bits" FAR more effective at cutting holes in 5 gal buckets and similar plastics - AND you can cut many diff sizes with teh same bit! It's great and cuts like butter with no splitting unless you're incredibly wreckless with it for some reason. :D
Paulownia tomentosa is considered an invasive tree in most States of the USA. Paulownia fortuneii and Paulownia elongata are not considered invasive. Have you considered trees like Screwbean Mesquite or Honey Mesquite which have a deep tap root, are able to bear the heat and once established low water conditions? These mesquites are thorny. The Mesquite pods once dried can be ground into nutritious flour. There are mesquites in the China Lake area of California that are surviving on 3 inches of rain/year. Those mesquite pods make up 60% of the coyotes' diet out there, poor things.
Hey there :) You are very observant! I did put the union backwards if you are going by how people normally do it. However a union is not in itself directional so you are allowed to put it in any direction you want and that just felt more natural to me. Hope you are enjoying our channel and please point out any other inconsistencies you might find along the way as we are always learning :)
@@mortonsfarm652 definitely was not a knock. I’m a Pipefitter myself. Yes it seals either direction. The union usually just identifies flow. I just started watching your channel. It was a good video!
We did this yesterday (1-21-2023) on my neighbors BX23S, same problem. And same results, once he blasted into the tank the diesel came pouring out. I suspect it will happen again, something in that tank is clogging the outlet. His fuel pump died, I believe from it running without any fuel flowing thru it. And it seems to be a problem with Kubota, in researching I see a few posts about this.
I want to make something like this but with a standard 5 gallon water jug. I want to be able to attach a hose to it, but also to close off the hose and use a hand pump to pressurize the jug so that when I open the hose the water sprays out. Any ideas ? It would be more to cool off than to water anything.
It took 36 minutes to watch you put the handle on the wheels on and put the oil in and the last 45 seconds of the video you actually started it. Your video was way too long there were no closer to show the control panel. He didn’t sure how you got it started or what switches you had to flip or valves you had to turn. Sitting through the entire video I got very little out of it. We certainly didn’t need to watch you pour 4 1/2 gallons of gas into the tank. And as I said the last 45 seconds you finally got it started. One good thing was the unboxing. And the accessories. Sorry sir but your video just didn’t make it for me. It does look like a good unit though
Teflon tape is a thread protector although it does help seal a bit, a hardening sealant would probably be better in the long run or loctite non hardening sealant if you want to be able to take it apart later. Great video!
I had the same problem last year with a quote of $2,500... Are you kidding me? Somehow or other it just resolved itself but I have no clue as to why but thank you so much for the video.
My IBC tote has same scenario as presented here. Rather than rely on the few threads present, I went the camlock fitting route: D200 Camlock (2" Female NPT) - polypropylene reducer bushing reducer 2 x 3/4" - nylon 3/4" male adapter to garden hose adapter as used in the video - brass
If you do this, make sure to remove the fuel cap first, otherwise you pressurize the tank and the fuel squirts out the hose at 100psi when the air is removed… Ask me how I know…🙄. Also, the gunk goes back up into the tank and make clog later. This is a great quick fix though!
I had the same problem too for the past several months. Tractor would run then the engine struggled and shut off. Purged the fuel line that comes from the fuel tank with compressed air - that cleared it right up. Thank you very much for this instruction.
did you blow the air into the fuel tank or back out from the fuel tank mine is plugged up with gunk how did you get the air hose into the tank and to the drain line to blow it out ....all help appreciated.
And I make my own hho in a mason jar and dubble my gas mileage in my 1998 Chev Silverado 50 motor, and double my gallons a hour on the generator .it works testimony victor freeman amen
I seen a man put his gas cans on the muffler side and started it with a bang and fire heads up ,my pulsar 5250 will be here tomorrow 🤑😁👍. Thanks for the video
In New Hampshire we find water in the ground and estimate the seasonal high water table from there we set the system up away from the water table. You in the desert not sure where the water table is. Good on ya for the filter fabric though definitely a good idea for sand and root infiltration again not sure how many trees and shrubs threaten to burrow through your system. Where I would critique you is for not having any sort of sump or gray water tank to catch solids and semi solids which in your trench system could cause premature failure. Somthing like this could be as easy as a plastic 55 gal drum with an outlet baffle to catch floating semi-solids(oils). Again like a traditional septic system it would need servicing but you could even spray it out during routine maintenance
