Heart breaking to see such a jewel of Christianity stolen, defiled, isolated and forgotten. Shame on Europe and Russia for betraying the oldest Christian state.

for anyone who only wants the code here it is : import rhinoscriptsyntax as rs Polygons = [] def Split(Polygon, level): #get the corners of the polygon corners = rs.CurvePoints(Polygon) A = corners[0] B = corners[1] C = corners[2] D = corners[3] AB_eval = [A[0] + (B[0]-A[0])*p_x, A[1] + (B[1]-A[1])*p_x, 0] CD_eval = [C[0] + (D[0]-C[0])*p_y, C[1] + (D[1]-C[1])*p_y, 0] P1 = rs.AddPolyline([AB_eval, CD_eval, D, A, AB_eval]) P2 = rs.AddPolyline([B, C, CD_eval, AB_eval, B]) #recursion if(level > 0): #keep splitting level -=1 Split(P1, level) Split(P2, level) else: #return the polygons Polygons.append(P1) Polygons.append(P2) Split(crv, L)

Thank you so much for this stunning tutorial! Very good explained as well! For my personal purpose I would be courious if (I'm sure it will be) and how it would be possible to change from this hard-edge zick-zack profile to a soft kind of wavy one (get rid of the sharpeness). Grateful for any advice to figure this out.

Fantastic tool. A bit inaccessible to a lot of modelers though. While definitely more usable than something like OpenSCAD, this still relies on the modeler to have a very strong understanding of the underlying maths and functions required to build the model. I'd love to see something a bit more accessible and user-friendly than "online Grasshopper".
