Yes, Laura Bretan is religious. She had her first performances as a singer in a Pentecostal Church in Chicago (USA) as a child at the age of eight. She was born in the USA, but her parents are from Romania and therefore Laura speaks Romanian fluently. At the age of 13, she took part in the Romanian TV talent show "Romania's Got Talent" and won. Also at 13, she took part in the talent show "America's Got Talent", received a golden buzzer and came sixth.
