Sorry man. Just get a light weight tripod or monopod for your iPhone that’s already in your pocket. All of this gear is totally overkill, especially for someone new to filming.
This is sick. I’m in Washington also. I’ve been using the Lumix S5ii+Lumix 35mm f1.8, Ifootage cobra strike ii monopod, and rode wireless pro to film myself. Do you get nervous about taking too long to setup your composition in between your strokes? That’s what stops me from filming a complete video.
They actually changed it sometime after I made this video. Google “Chambers Bay hole #1 par change” and you will see! See the article from Golf.com from 2021 golf.com/travel/courses/chambers-bay-controversial-us-open-host/?amp=1 No. 1 plays down toward the water, yielding an early scoring opportunity (unlike the pros, civilians play it as a par-5). Thanks for the comments! Just commenting on my video 2 times recommends my video way more than you know on the algorithm. Every interaction, thumbs up or down, comments help promote the video! So thank you for caring so much about my video!
So, how can I make it official? Do I need to subscribe to the USGA and input my results there? Can I informally get this tracked with any app as I play?
Why do all these reviews talk about distance? Most people hitting into a net in your garage could care less......How does it feel? How is the resistance? Stop it already with the distance angle!!!
It got close to my GHIN handicap. I assume the small difference is the course rating between white, blue and black tees since I have played all 3 but only used the blue. I play whatever my the group I am with plays.
I have heard that you multiply your handicap by .96 when you are competing in match play. This way, the better golfer will win if both golfers shoot their handicap score to par. Otherwise, they would tie.
Too much damn work. I just want to hit the little white ball, haul ass in the golf cart, drink some beers, and talk shit to my buddies. Not do college level calculus.
I play these in PW-7. I lost a bit in distance at first but kept trying to improve and with lessons my ball striking has improved. I feel I can now almost the ball where I want it to go. I’ve got my distance back again. Overall these clubs made me a better golfer. How are they going for you now?
Excellent video! After following all the necessary calculations I've found out my handicap, using my last 20 scores, and I'm a 20 handicap. Thanks for demystifying something as arcane as this.
I played it a few times back in the 80's.. It was rated as the worse course in the county.. I remember a par four there that was under 200 yards but had a 90 degree dogleg so you made two pitch shots... pretty wet too.
Very straightforward video, thank you. Very new to golf, about 3 rounds in today. I see I'll need a few more rounds at the very least before this becomes something to calculate. Just out of curiosity, does your handicap only matter during competitive play?
