Hey 👋 We are Samantha and Caolan aka GoTimeTravels. We are from Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪 We started our RU-vid journey in 2020 and we haven’t looked back. We travel the world as full time travel Vloggers and document our experiences right HERE!
Our RU-vid channel was a total accident as we originally planned to move to Canada, but in 2020 when the world changed we were forced to make new plans. Those new plans brought us travelling the world instead. We still had no plans to do RU-vid but after watching A LOT of RU-vid videos and travel Vloggers in general, we thought WHY CANT WE DO THAT?
Now, almost 3 years later we are still travelling, making what we think is entertaining and informative content for our viewers to watch.
Life is not a rehearsal and we intent to live it to the max, so please subscribe to our channel to join us on our travels 😁
We are Canadian & our dollar is not strong compared to the euro. It cost us $1.47 dollars to buy one euro; therefore 2 beer for 7 euros would actually be converted to $10.29 Canadian. Therefore, it’s really expense for us to travel there however, even with additional cost, it didn’t keep us from loving our stay there three weeks ago. Love your video. Wish we had known about your videos before we got there.
@GoTimeTraveles WTF!!! The Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, also known as Auschwitz, was established by the Third Reich in 1940 in the territory of Poland under German occupation. It was a German Nazi , GERMAN!!!! concentration and extermination camp. The direct reason for the establishment of the camp was the increasing number of mass arrests of Poles and the overcrowding of existing prisons. The commanders of the camp were Rudolf Höß, Arthur Liebehenschel, and Richard Baer. Yes, many of the Jews who were in the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp were Polish citizens. Many of them were born and raised in Poland.
Thanks Samantha & Caolain ☺ It's great to see you back in Portugal & by sheer coincidence my vlogs are coming from there at the moment! 😉 After trying the native pastéis de nata I came back to Ireland & tried to savour the ones Lidl sells at €3 for 4, but I was no longer able to fathom them 😒 Luckily there's a snackbar in Kilkenny, next to MacDonagh Junction, which sells them at €2 each called Algarve Grill & they apparently have them made in nearby Carlow. I believe SuperValu & Dunnes sell them but they sell out very fast from there! There's actually a bar next to the Farmers' Market in Funchal selling a 500ml draft Superbock for only €2 & that was the all day price! I now try & go to where the locals eat if possible for the best prices, but you have to love the views & atmosphere of the places you've visited, so I wouldn't mind spending a bit more to relish them! Have an amazing weekend my friends 🤗
i really dunno why but am i the only danish person getting strangely annoyed not at them but just by the fact that half of the things are pronounced wrong
The "snailbread" translation bothers me; a more accurate translation would be "cinnamon snail." Kanel-snegl = cinnamon-snail. On Wednesdays they make it double size for cheaper than normal size and its called a Wednesdays snail.
We are visiting Portugal for the first time in 3 weeks from now. I loved your videos from your last trips as we are coming to an area very close to you (Ferragudo). would be great if you could do a more up to date visit there for us coming over 😜.
Staying in "fisherman" village of Ferragudo, you're in Lagoa area, so you must consider rent a car and go to Carvoeiro village (nice restaurants) and a quick visit to Algar Seco. Also explore the secret intricate beaches near by (Carvalho, Centeanes, Marinha, Albandeira, Sra. da Rocha, and Benagil with the most IG famous grout, visited only by small boat). Portimão city on the other side of the Arade river is completely diferent, more urban, with a nice Marina and all of city life has to offer (alot of fish and sea food restaurants, shops, bars, shopping moll etc). Praia da Rocha is the main touristic and known beach, but you also have Praia do Vau, Prainha, Caniço (acessed by a public lift inside Prainha Villa), 3 Irmãos and Alvor . A visit to Lagos is also mandatory. Cheers from Lisbon.
@@miguelrecio7464 thanks for the travel tips. I have a car from the airport until we go back to Scotland. So 11 days to visit the Algarve, and I fully intend to take advantage of having the car. All your suggestions have been added to our list of places to visit while there. We have an 8 year old boy with us, I assume he will be well catered for in all these areas?
Awesome video. We are originally from the Azores living in Canada and have not visited the Algarve area yet. Beautiful video. Do you have the name of the apartment where you stayed? ❤❤❤
What an epic looking Beach and you could get an idea of the hotness from the video so those cold beer probably really came in handy. Looks like a really nice place!
We to fell in love with Portugal and have been back twice and will be back again in 2025. Our go to place is Quarteira where we made so many friends. So much so that we will be watching our friends dog so they can back to Brazil to see family.
I moved to Lagos 4 weeks ago and I’m loving it so far ❤🙏🏻🇵🇹🤩🌅 it’s an amazing lifestyle and I’ve been making the most of exploring Lagos and albufeira so far
