Awesome! Im doing the exact same mod and I'm not figuring out how to write the g-code and everything. Ive gotten it to move with set and test angles but struggle to get it in a working gcode... If you could share the "clean".cfg or something that would be much appreciated!
I've been thinking of buying a 3d printer for the past couple weeks, but after watching a few videos it seems like they're a slippery slope, worse than crack.
Yes and no, buy yourself a reliable one and you won’t see yourself slipping down that slope much. Get a used shitty one and it will become your personality trying to make it perfect.
if you want a stable print and go solution thats prints fast the anycubic kobra pro 2 is a nice step in the hobby... but if you want more open source flexability etc get the elegoo neptune 4
Do you happen to know the rpm’s or how many darts per second yours is shooting? Looking into getting one and want my fire rate to be about the same as yours
Beware- sent to Cohesion3d- "I am new to the laser engraving world, but was hoping for a good experience (NOT HAPPENING) and was really looking forward to working with Lightburn and your 3d Cohesion board... But your company does not respond. It is unacceptable to just not respond when you accept payment, and customers are waiting for their products. If you do NOT have the products to sell, DO NOT OFFER them, or at least GET BACK WITH CUSTOMERS that have paid in good faith. I NEED A RESPONSE TO CONFRIM RECEIPT of my order and a definite connection with your company and an affirmation that you are sending and warrantying my products. When they arrive, is there someone to help me, or will you be UNRESPONSIVE?... IT MATTERS..."
This was 6 years ago, I've found that you really need a lot of oil in the action. It works a lot better if it's wet enough to impregnate the layers of plastic.
Are you only running a 2 switch set up. If so try setting up motor breaking on the pusher motor. Switch set up is common to motor positive/NO to battery positive/NC to battery negative. It will help with cycle control
Friend, a question, the other parts such as grip, handguard, stock, charger, etc., were you created with plastic 3d printer? did you buy the pieces? What material are they ? regards!
@@craigbergman bro them Dyson are hiding some jet motors in their bladeless fans, those are so loud it isn't worth it to pay 600 not even considering the purifier
It's a 3.5w 440nm diode laser. I bought it, then a 7w diode laser, was disappointed with both, then bought the k40 co2 laser and am mostly satisfied now.
Craig Bergman cool setup. I’m looking to build something very similar. What do you like better about the new co2 laser? How do either of those lasers do on metal for engraving?
Hell yeah well I’m back to work full time again but at Pinterest now. So weekends when I go fishing. Kokanee I try to hit it early AM. Before the sun breaks. Going to Wenatchee this week end but maybe next weekend? Lake Stevens.
Twice. My knees just need some retraining, and it's the cadillac of electric boards that I've rode, but a shorter commute and maybe diagonal drive would make it more ridable.
Thanks for answering, did you buy a conversion kit? I'm thinking of doing this myself and doing the research now. The only ones I find are from this Russian(?) company that looks a bit sketchy. Also did you get regenerative braking and what remote did you use?
There's a Greek company that does a bolt on Onda conversion. This was a full custom 3d print/CNC build, you can find the build details at endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=69336
+Stephen Kibbons This one end up horrible, but I reiterated it enough times to get it working well. It's published at www.thingiverse.com/thing:750551 and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hiEOxEry9kI.html shows the more finalized design being printed.
+RC Grid Here I think I'm going ~1000mm at .25 depth with 45% stepover on a 1/4" 2 flute carbide endmill, I haven't gotten to toolchanges yet so finished parts are still a bit rough.
+Bret Richter I'm using sketchup for design, meshcam for CAM and carbide motion for comms, but once I wire up my homing switches I may switch over to universal gcode sender.
@@stevanastardust8487 Actually, the failure was on a carriage ball, that could have been loctited, and was after this video. The magnetic balljoint did not fail, it was physically pushed out of triangulation by a mounting issue. I've subsequently never had this issue occur again.
