I had this set as a kid and should have it still although I’d need to price it back together. My cousin gave me all his classic Lego recently I’m going to start a classic Lego town for myself and my son
@@Blockabillylego it sure is. I need to find the minifigs in the dump box he gave me but I have the plane complete with the stretcher here right now. I’m going to relax with this project for the evening and forget the world exists.
@@Ankh_The_Artist I’ll have to think about that. Lego raised their prices this year, but perhaps they have gotten cheaper if we’re taking into consideration inflation over the years. I still think Funwhole sets are a great price, especially because they come with light kits.
@@Blockabillylego as far as I'm aware, the inflation adjusted price per part has gone down over the years for Lego. Take that with a grain of salt though. A good example is the 2013 creator treehouse. It retailed for $30, which is about $40 in today's money. For $40 today, you can buy two of the city space construction mech, 3-in-1 spaceship, and the 3-in-1 super robot. I have one of each of those sets, as well as the treehouse, and they are already bigger. But two of each? You definitely get a lot more plastic for money nowadays, which is a better metric than price per part.
@@Blockabillylego just don't take what I said is absolute fact though, there are probably examples of recent sets being more expensive, but for the stuff I'm interested in at least things have gotten way cheaper.
@@Ankh_The_Artist I did fact check the cost of the tree house set and inflation rate, you were spot on. I'll definitely be looking into this topic more.
to remove the stickers get a coffee mug with hot water put the sticker against the mug with the hot water won't take too long it will come loose you'll be able to peel it off and if you have to put it somewhere get some baking paper and put the sticker on that or even better old sticker shape paper what you can put it back on to you need to put it on the Lego piece if you're using the same piece or a new piece you can pop a used the hot water trick to keep it stuck down if it's not sticking properly to reheat glue to make it stick
6361 actually came in variations with both molds. The one with 15 studs and print is exclusive (while several other versions with 15 studs exist). The one with 16 studs only exists in this print and color version, but was also used in a less common set 1489.
This is such a fun gimmick for a food honestly. I am a little bit worried though, do the blue ones use green dye? Some of my family members are allergic to green dye 😅
When I saw that part I could immediately picture the crane. One of the great mid 80s town sets :). It should still be in the Lego bin at my mom's. With a little luck the container is still assembled with the stickers still applied. There was also an excellent fire truck from that time, 6358 Snorkel Squad, that used that very same boom assembly in red and white with a basket at the end.
The very first LEGO set I ever owned was a green LEGO City shipping crane with a black boom arm piece. The other part of the crane arm wasn’t a crane arm piece but instead a regular Technic beam. The 2x2 base end of the outer arm has 2x2 studs on top. I don’t know when the specific set was released initially, but I know it was in the late 2000s when I recieved it.
I had one of these as a kid but being as it was what it was it was broken in the middle idk whether it had the print or not. I remember my brother said it was a gate for a railroad crossing. And was broken when a lego car plowed through it. I'd assume it was mid 80s based on my brother age
i have this set, all of the pieces, and the instructions still. i always thought it was really cool having all of it still. EDIT: i found the name. what i have is the cargomaster crane. it isn't the exact set, but it uses the same piece.
I did the same thing with my trx4m and I made flat rings with the fishing led w/ injora beed lock wheels, I found that weighing your waits as you install inside wheels is helpful so that they remain similar in weight. Also monkeyrc shows using pool noodles as foam inserts pair the 2 together and know you have weighted foam tire set up.😃
I just finished my first Funwhole set yesterday 🥰I was very happy with the Apothecary Shop & I've already bought 3 more set lol. Thank you for reviewing their sets 😍
