Craig, towards the end of the video you have success by dropping down to a size 12 Suspender Hare's Ear on the point with two smaller Diawl Bachs as droppers. When you are using the Suspender as the point on a team, do the droppers pull it down out of the film, compared to how it would fish as a single fly? Or, do you use a larger piece of foam for the Suspender to keep it in or near the film? Seems it is effectively a Washing Line setup, but using the Suspender Hare's Ear on the point rather than a Booby or a FAB. Thank you. Cheers,
Hi Shannon. There are a couple of tricks is use when using the hares ear Suspender. Yes, slightly bigger foam helps support the two db's, however I also rub gink floatent we'll into the foam head. I also, as I'm fishing the flies static, just fish a relatively short leader, 12' with the 3 flies. The shorter leader gives less line influence to sink the point fly. A long leader would on a longer cast eventually sink the Suspender, by the time you've eeked it back in. Thanks, Craig
Craig, Here's to a Healthy and Prosperous 2023. And, I look forward to more instructional videos from you with a focus on your techniques and why. Again, thanks. Cheers,
Craig, Thanks for your newest release. It would be most helpful if whenever you change your setup (fly line, leader and/or flies) you tell us what you are using. Cheers,

Could you explain how to tie your droppers on,I lifted handed and use fulling mill flourocarbon keeps snapping so I find I restricted to fishing one fly.great vids like your style keep it up.
Nice one Craig, there were loads in that area last week . I had a some really good days in the north arm on my practice days ,it just didn't happen for me on the match days at the weekend there . On to the next one though .cheers Stevie
Craig, Thanks. Good quality video. Would be informative if you provided a bit more detail on your leader setup and your retrieves and why. Also, were you free drifting or using a drogue? Again, thanks. Look forward to more.
Hi Craig, I asked this question on the Rutland channel but could you confirm the floating line you were using was Wychwood rocket taper expert? And what are your thoughts on it? Thanks
Good luck with the channel - I found it through John Park's latest upload - I don't get to fish Rutland that often but do enjoy fishing there when I get the chance.
Hi Craig What rods do you currently fish for pulling and dries please?? And the manunfacutre of the lines you fish ???. Excellent videos keep em coming
Hi Fergus...I use the Wychwood T2 WF 7# rods...for me, they are perfect..Not to pokey and not to soft either...The floating line is a wychwood Rocket Floater, and the Di5 is an Airflow line..I do have thos tackle available if you are interested. Thanks for watching..Craig
I hope so...I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge...this has been on the radar for years, just never got round to getting it all organised....now here we are...can't wait to get out on the dries !
Watching It was almost like the outcome was inevitable and then it happened.Pretty weird in real time.Almost like a premonition unfortunately for the man on the rod.
