The cake is a part of black history. How are YOU teaching something began with black people and your not even mentioning the history of it. This version is literally the white “dance class” version. Lady you should learn your history and then decide if you are qualified to be teaching this. At the least you need to talk about exactly what it is and how it came about.
Hello, thanks for your feedback. This is one video in a series of videos that teaches about the cake walk. The history of the cake walk is an entirely different video.
Wow the level of wrong in this is incredible. People into country western music have been clogging in cowboy boots since before this girls mother was born yet she says boots are not good. 😅 please no one listen to her.
Hi! Thanks for your feedback! I can agree that clogging in boots can and has been done, I have clogged in boots myself! This video is an introductory video to a clogging course. These are the guidelines for the shoes we are using in this specific course.
Hi! Good question. Good Mood by Adam Levine, Better when I'm dancin' by Megan Trainer, and Surface Pressure from the movie Encanto are all fun ones and can be done with this combo.
I thought breakdancing was a type of dance that you may break your limbs or neck if you try to execute the moves improperly. The possibility of injury is high too.
So cute. Although, I wouldn't call it jazz, and definitely not intermediate. I was expecting something with classic jazz moves like double or tripple pirouettes an axel or other intermediate level jumps, so I'm a bit dissapointed. I would definitely call this a beginner's pop combo. But keep it up! This would definitely appeal to a lot of people, just not someone looking for an intermediate jazz combo. If you name you videos more appropriately, you;ll have an easier time finding your audience. :)
Dammit! Despite your excellent demonstration, and years of practise, I get half way through this move and then just completely lose it! Every time. Around the count of 3 or 4! I just can't help but feel like I'll never be a dancer and realise my dreams. 😢
Something you could try is not going down so far in the Demi Plie. I would also try to stretch your calves regularly to help with flexibility. To do this - face a wall, put the heel of your foot on the ground, and the ball of your foot on the wall, keep your leg straight and lean forward until you feel a stretch. Let me know if this helps!
