Hello and welcome to my channel! I'm very passionate about music, video games, and film, all of which I've been collecting for over 30 years. My content is centered around history, nostalgia, and most of all, having fun enjoying physical media.
Those Civil War titles honestly look really cool and is something we don't get too often from that era. I also wholeheartedly laugh at myself knowing that if I had seen them in a store 10 or more years ago I would have instantly dismissed them as low quality shovelware since they looked like some kind of edu-tainment game from the History Channel and not a gritty Civil War FPS based around the Union fighting the Confederates lol.
I have Raven Software take on Wolfenstein. But for my PS3. I’m guessing it was made to leach off the monumental success of ActiVision, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty series. Specifically Treyarch’s Call of Duty World at War given both are set in World War II.
Chronicles of Riddick EFBB is way better than Assault on Dark Athena. Those story elements, story building, pacing are all way worse. It's just way more generic run and gun game. I played the original EFBB through on OG Xbox (still have it of course) and then the re-release on Xbox 360 but that Assault on Dark Athena was just so far from EFBB that I never completed it.
I have the DVD LOTR extended bought them separately as they came out and not in a set. I also have the Blu ray versions extended, but its the Best Buy exclusive which comes with the chess pieces. Also just blu ray of the hobbit movies extended.
Great video ....can u do video on xbox 360 that u dont need dlc n one that just play story mode or 1player ...that are hidden gems n ones u reckon will go up in value
I have the remaster of MUA xbox series x and I love that game so fun. I actually wanted to buy the second one but it's been de listed from tbe Xbox digital store. I was so disappointed
The PlayStation port of Doom had an advantage because of the CD-Audio chip inside the console. On early models, it was the best Sony CD Player on the market.
Yep I sure did, once I saw that engine background connected to Demonik I couldn't resist since I've known about that connection back when the movie came 😅
@@RetroMediaRoom so I would have to get the Japanese version? I've seen that the German version has the uncut intro in color while the one in Japan is black and white, I don't mind the Japanese import tho, I love your videos btw
@@ericpivaral4747 Thank you! Yeah I can only speak to the Japanese Sega Saturn version which I think the intro is in color and uncensored, it's been a minute 😅
I bought Stranglehold 10 years ago from Gamestop for about $9.99, and it's a lot of fun. I'm a fan of both John Woo and Chow Yun Fat, I've also seen Hard Boiled. He's basically an Asian Max Payne, and I would love to see a Stranglehold remake like how Max Payne 1 & 2 are getting a remake. I bought X-Men Origins Wolverine [CIB] for Xbox 360 almost 3 years ago from Facebook Marketplace in a 4 game bundle for $45 ($11.25 for each game)
Radiant Dawn is my favorite Fire Emblem game of all time so I definitely recommend playing through it if you haven’t yet! It’s a direct sequel to Path of Radiance on the GameCube but you can play it without context and it still makes sense (though I recommend playing through PoR since it’s a great game) If you do play RD, make sure you play on easy, especially if it’s your first Fire Emblem game. It’s known as one of the toughest in the series because of how the story moves around to different perspectives.
Alot of peeps just pump out vids without knowing the subject matter at hand. This man knows his stuff, knows gaming history and is clearly intelligent. Hope your channel grows - excellent content.
Great video dude, definately liked and subscribed. My favorite game was at the top of the list! Ultimate Alliance! Wish they would remake these games for modern consoles! Glad I got that 360 copy before it got expensive!!!
Yeah, I wish I could have gotten that on the PS store. I only hearf about that after it happened. Glad I got the 360 version though. I am big into physical media.
I'm gonna be one sad puppy if Xbox really does go full digital before revealing and releasing Activisions back catalog of possible remasters and never before re-releases or sequels.
Great picks. Marvel ultimate alliance definitely has plenty of fans but a lot of people sleep on quake 4 and Wet. Wet is especially nice because it feels like a blend of max payne and stranglehold but it’s that stylization that really made me like it…. However I didn’t manage to finish the game. I should get around to that. Alpha protocol is good fun because of its RPG elements. Visually I think it looks a lot better on PC and the mods make it more cleaned up. Dynasty warriors gundam is an excellent series. I like 2 and 3 much more than the first one so you are in for a treat
By all accounts, it’s still pretty rough when it comes to 360 games. They’re always working on xenia to improve it, but ps2/wii emulators seem to be much more stable
Excellent picks! The 2 I have (Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Wet) are awesome and the other 3 are high on my wantlist. As a fun fact (unrelated to the 360), Alpha Protocol was delisted everywhere but GOG negotiated with the publisher and not only got it relisted (with the licensed track that got it delisted in the first place) but also added some modern compatibility improvements. Pretty cool if you happen to also game on PC.
