You could always turn the henchmen you don't want into gold since you're playing as max. Also if you want to know symmetry, agent x, wreaking bola and atomic Olga are the super agents you can recruit just have to kill them in a mission then they somehow live (don't ask I don't know I just like using bola and x).
Megasafes "officially" take up 5 power, but a little trick is that turning them off once they’re placed doesn’t get rid of their ability to hold gold; just the protection against Rouges. Edit: never mind you went with something else.
You keep using the reinforced doors for your vaults. Those are easier for Rogues to bypass than regular doors. Use the Laser doors for your vaults, those are the ones that stop rogues.
Here is a list of what happens when you brainwash. Rogues - deception Sabs always technicians Soldiers - muscle Investigators and divers (polar dlc) always yellow shirts. Higher level gives the higher tier minion of said group with some exceptions. Fugu and jubei martial artists always turn into martial artists. Any group with a super agent turns into the level one version of their type. Final one a certain end loot item (won't revel in case it spoils) is an investigator with a gun pulled out that will turn into a muscle and not a yellow shirt. Hope this helps or is interesting to you.
…Well, you had to learn about the importance of not angering the super agents at some point. I guess the best teacher really is late-game Atomic Olga in the mid-game. Also, you couldn’t brainwash the captured soldiers because your minion count was already maxed out. And the low morale problem (coffee break symbol) probably has a lot to do with the literal couple hundred dead bodies on the floor. Might need to get a couple more incinerators so we don’t have to get rid of those one at a time.
Im proud of you dude, you've been making videos for ten years and for almost that entire time you've kept coming back with better than wolves episodes, banger after banger after banger. You're dedicated to this series and I respect your passion and patience.
Just a heads-up: despite being won legitimately*, the Bush Tucker BBQ station attracts suspicion for Rogues. I guess because it’s something worth stealing? Or maybe because it’s "cheating" to use a genetically-altered minion with the pouch of a marsupial, the gluttony of a wolverine, no neural sensors to detect when they’re full, BBQ sauce laced with shrinking serum, and pants with extra pockets. Either way, you might wanna keep that in the back of your mess hall. Edit: Nevermind, you did.
It’s absolutely worth it to stop minions from deserting, they go on the news and rat you out to the Forces of Justice, raising heat and attracting soldiers. Also, the guy you saw going "deeper into the base" was headed for your vaults to take a few grand for himself on his way out.
I’ve said this a couple times before, those Super Agent Warning missions don’t stop Super Agents from coming to your base. They just make them come to your base with weaker sidekick agents. You also used the Anti-Sabateur doors on your vaults. It’s Rogues you’d need to worry about getting in there; rogues steal things, saboteurs blow things up. It even says in the description. Maximilian is my princess~
That put a big ol' grin on my face to hear you make that Legacy of Kain reference. :) Now if only they'd gotten Simon Templeman to do the voice for Vae Victus.
I don't know why RU-vid recommend this but I watched it and it made me feel nostalgic for some reason it's like the video was made years ago but it was made an hour ago and when I looked at your channel I saw just how many videos and games you played and all of them have low views I felt a little bad but you keep uploading every time I loved the video keep uploading ❤
Sir Daniel's weakness is supposed to be that he’s allergic to bee stings. The mission when you find that out was supposed to be "construct a Killer Bees trap". But you already had the trap built, so it skipped that part. The mission's also a bit bugged (heh) because only said Killer Bees trap was supposed to work, but that’s the game's fault. Don’t blame your minions for being unable to calmly escort investigators back to the cover operation. Once these investigators get to a certain level, their first instinct upon being told they’re in an Employees Only area is to see how good your socialites' dental coverage is. Then your Guards take exception to the fact that these fedora-wearing guys are starting fights, and suddenly there’s body bags all over the floor. All you can do is either try to keep the heat down in all areas, or just leave about four Guard Posts at the entrance to your true lair and accept the fact that you’re such a threat that the Forces of Justice's only chance is to aend their guys out with the mission of "violence". Don’t be afraid of going with "recruit" if you’re on the fence about a henchman. You can always kill them after recruiting them if they outlive their usefulness or fail you for the last time. Finally, Carl Cafard…I don’t like to backseat game too much and I’ve done as little to influence your choice in henchmen as possible…but Carl's undisputedly bottom tier in this game. His first ability creates a trap in the lair that I’ve never seen successfully sprung to date, and his second ability creates forged loot for Rogues to steal - the only Rogues you’ve ever faced are the ones scripted by either side stories or super agents. But, maybe you like a challenge, and he’s one of only two remaining Deception henchmen that aren’t rotting in a grave somewhere. Speaking of, it’s impossible to have both Cafard and the other remaining Deception henchman at the same time, so if you plan on getting one, avoid killing one so that you can do it when recruiting the other.
Just a heads-up, 25 Quantum Chemists might tank your income. Their salaries are massive. You’ll want to keep their numbers in the single digits. Same goes for the other final tier of minions. Other than that, the endgame is in sight! Finish this batch of side stories and you’ll be tying up the last of the loose ends before you know it! Following your journey through this game has been a blast.
I cant telll you how awesome it is that you are still playing this modpack and creating these videos for it... its incredible both your stamina with the pack and the pack is great itself too. so thanks for this
3 seasons, 325 episodes... I've been searching for someone who played this modpack (mostly because Tdlmc isn't going to push its series any further), if you have this many episodes recorded you must not only like the mod but give your best at learning it. I'm going to give it a try and watch it since your first video, let's see how this goes.
No worries. For getting the fake schematics stolen, it might be a good idea to turn off the Auto-Target in your casino and base entrance So minions don’t immediately try to kick agents out the second they step through the doors. Just remember to turn it back on!
Because the agents that get sent to your lair are consistently high-level (at least the ones that aren’t story-scripted rouges), they’ll often respond to escort attempts by making your valets wish they had dental. This leads to them being caught doing violence on security camera, leading to your muscle minions avenging the lost valet, leading to the agents calling for backup, which leads to the immediate entrance to your base being a war zone. You can mitigate this either by making sure your heat is always as low as possible so the investigators are low-level too, or just giving up and acknowledging that this part of your base is the designated bloodbath zone. Surprisingly, both are legitimately viable strategies depending on whether or not you can afford/want to replace everyone. The two biggest gripes about the game are A: the 5-henchman limit, and B: the arbitrary 300 max minion count no matter how many lockers you have. You had the right idea to get rid of one of the rooms, though. SIR DANIEL ERNEST HEMINGBOONE, AT. YOUR. SERVICE! Apart from being among the hammiest characters in the game not named Red Ivan, this suspiciously-similar substitute for Colonel Blackheart is arguably one of the best henchmen in the game at dealing damage. His elephant gun can even be used at close range unlike most characters with a long-range weapon, his Camouflage ability lets him hide from and inevitably get the jump on anyone unfortunate enough to be tagged for kill, and his Trap ability, while low-damage, can’t be disarmed by anyone (not even John/Jane Steele). As Eli Barracuda Jr. starts to lose his usefulness in the late game, Sir Daniel can easily pick up his slack or even outright replace him if you’re cold enough. The only notable downside is that every single time the guy attacks you in the side stories, which is multiple times a mission, he spams out those darn potted plants everywhere. They’re just decoration, but they’re everywhere and make it hard for your minions to walk anywhere in your base until they’re deleted…or moved out of the way if you think they still liven up the place. But as usual, it’s up to you to determine whether he’s the deadliest game or if that honor goes to Mahjong.
The chicken didn't die in the previous episode from the piston pushing it over the hopper, it was from your grass piston. The chicken briefly clipped into the ground and suffocated. It's always going to be a risk and random with moving blocks below any animal. Pistons pushing into / clipping over a chicken will sometimes move the chicken, and sometimes not but it won't suffocate them and its fine. The piston will push the egg whether it moves the chicken or not. Grass doesn't grow at night, which is why you're having issues with it. On the version you're playing grass is very brutal, you need a larger piston tape than what you have. There are only two ways on the version you have to farm eggs with 100% efficiency with 0% suffocation risk is to A) Chicken stands on a hopper, does not get any other space and you feed it seeds via a dispenser instead of grass through the diagonal block. Or B) Chicken stands on a hopper, does not get any other space and you feed it via a grass HALF slab piston tape where the grass half slab is not under the chicken but at head level. If you put glass over the half slab the chicken can't escape and can still eat it. For a 20 minute timer, easiest solution is a 5 min item decay timer combined with a memory circuit. Other options are to build a 20 minute clock which takes considerably more resources. There are also some glitchy options for day/night sensor builds in 1.5.2 but they're unreliable.
Good call on extending the Distract zone, I was about to comment on that. Heads up for this new side story: EVERY step you complete will make things burst into flame. So…be ready for that painus in the anus. The reason the No. 2 Memorial couldn’t be placed in that spot was because it was blocking the only path to one of your Control Room seats. Again, with the triggering every single Super Agent at once… I know there’s loads of emergency missions everywhere, but the punishment for not completing those in particular is a loss of $20000. That would barely be a drop if you had the funds befitting for a mid-game player. Since you’re a main story mission away from that milestone, I’d try to find some room for a larger vault, whether it’s a third one or a relocation of your two current ones. You should probably aim for a million dollars as your new max, give or take.
Back to provoking multiple Super Agents at once, eh? They won’t move from their current position while you’re looking at the world stage, you have to exit that screen, wait for long enough for their positions to refresh, and then return to the screen.
Gotta love Lac. Other RU-vidrs "I did some stuff but I lost the video, anyways here is my mansion made from diamond blocks" Lac "I did some stuff but I lost the video. I died, lost all my stuff and now I am lost. Dang it."
Quick thing to note about the Cupid's Arrow mission: until it's completed, most of your minions gain the "Unloved" trait which drains their morale until the side story is completed. Unless you plan on building the world's largest staff room, you might wanna get that mission finished as quickly as possible. Once you complete the mission, every minion loses the Unloved trait immediately. Also, the arrow is your first loot item that counts as a trap.
Nice vid! Nice to see other channels still sticking with Minecraft content! Makes me feel better about my own content knowing so many people still play it haha! Keep it up!!!! - Coppit XDDDDD
