My ‘02 odyssey is not governed. That thing hits 120, shifts into 5th gear then rolls into 140. Not sure what the 0-60 is but I’m sure it’s faster than 7.5sec.. J35 gets with the program
@@oddities-whatnot Yes its AWD, no its not a "heavy" car. Even the E92 M3 is a few hundred pounds heavier than it. The 2021 manual awd model literally weighs 3117lb. The two door E92 M3 is about 3600. For reference, the 2025 M5 (4 door sedan) weighs 5390lb. Now that's a heavy car. This subaru you're seeing is as light as they get, especially for a damn crossover, hence why the blazingly fast acceleration.
Picked my 07 Solstice GXP with a RPM Motorsports stage 2 tune. This thing pulls like crazy and cant wait to take it here. My 2015 Challenger with 305 HP (3.8) did a best of 14.3 @ 97 MPH but I know this GXP is tons faster. My guess is a low 13 or high 12 sec quarter at about 105 MPH
All these people saying its slow, its a small NA 4 cylinder engine that's not meant for drag racing and more of a handling car. What the fuck are you guys comparing it to?
The ECU determined how much PSI someone gets depending on many variables. Just because someone else hits 12 regularly doesn’t mean everyone else does as well. The reason the WRX took so much longer is also because he needed a 3 shift to hit 60.
Did you find stock ecu limited revs in 6th gear? I went 15× kmh today and rhe rev limiter came in seemingly early, scared the shit out of me, did let see exact speed when it happened. Mines has dynojet and rs4 with twin air no lid
jsut gearing and the rev limit being at 6k. may on youtube with a tune that changed rev limit to 6.5 or 7k they are in the 4s stock with limit changed only
@@madloudnoises Turns out one has a turbo and one is naturally aspirated😲 Apparently for every 1 atmospheric pressure (which is around 14psi), you essentially double the amount of air going into the cylinder. Effectively doubling the "displacement" of the engine. Turns out that 3cyl engine is running at about 26psi out of the box. 26/14psi= 1.85. This effectively makes the physically 1.6l engine run at an "EFFECTIVE" 4.56L displacement. Basically one engine is over a decade newer and whilst running at 91.2% of the displacement its only actually making 300HP vs 507HP. Well as you can see it actually turns out that YOU are the incompetent one.
