Those were excellent years for Liam neeson: 2002- gangs of New York 2003- love actually 2004-excellent underrated KINSEY 2005- Batman Begins & kingdom of heaven
I came for the comments, and...was not surprised to see the celebration of the destruction of the American family unit. The last great bastion of hope for our nation before we are turned over to the nihilistic socialist our grandparents warned against. Ultimately there’s only one way this ends, and Charles Darwin (intellectual dullard though he was) is absolutely right: “On a long enough time line, the survival of the fittest will make for a lonely existence in the future.”
@@ZukoHalliwell Its literally in the two reports he's famous for lol...well, not that he was, but that people were molesting kids as part of the experiment. Read chapter 5 of the Male one.
@@ZukoHalliwell Collected data from convicted child molesters and on top of that he experimented on young children, he even went as far as to document an orgasm of a 5 MONTH OLD BABY! I don't know how you degenerates define pedophilia but in my book performing sexual experimentations on children should get you a lifetime of torture.
That is an astounding scene. I've seen bits of the movie over the years, but had no idea about Redgrave's powerful contribution. A much underrated actress in a lightly remembered film.
Incredible scene. Redgrave deserved an Oscar for that one scene. And everyone knows, she should have been given the Best Actress Oscar for Gods and Monsters. Unquestionably. Another Academy failure. No shortage of those !
@@thatinternetdude1392 For context, my comment is 10 years old. I was in my early twenties when I wrote this. Having struggled with thoughts of suicide because of my own sexuality, this scene comforted me. At no point did I ever comment or condone anything regarding the actual project. Simply put, Lynn Redgrave did a great job portraying the emotional turmoil many of us LGBTQIA+ endure. And it is for this reason that this scene stands alone. If you had bothered to ask, rather than criticize, you wouldn’t look like an ass right now.
@@yokokanno25 Wasn't really trying to critisize you--so I'm sorry. I was trying to critisize this portrayal of the project which turns something horrifying that I'm personally effected by into a warm and touching piece of Hollywood unreality.
THANK YOU for uploading this scene. I wasn't particularly fond of the whole movie, but Redgrave is practically luminous in this scene. Just goes to show that you don't need hours of screentime to deliver a powerful performance!
Oh how touching! Ever since I read of her passing, I have become really familiar with her work... She is a true star. Funnily enough, the final scene with Vanessa in 'Atonement' mirrors this very precisely, a pivotal monologue that sums up the themes and plot of the film. Very beautiful!
