Congratulations my friend!! privy or not we still won!. I myself did 2 unboxing on my channel. By the way, nice content. I am subscribing to your channel now, thanks for sharing!
Matt and Mike. If y’all wanna get thin and healthy just adopt the Carnivore Diet. I’m serious. I am 62. I am 5’11” and used to weigh 320 pounds. I am currently 192 pounds and healthy as a horse. No meds. I feel like I did in my 20’s. 😃 BTW - I have a 2024 Flowing Hair Liberty medal on the way. Hoping for a privy to flip, but will also be pleased to retain this medal in my collection if I don’t get the privy mark because I have always really dug this classic 18th Century early American design. So it will be a win either way. 😊
These guys ramble so much. The talk now should be only about the US Mint 2024 flowing hair silver medal and the gold coin. SO much going on with the silver medal! Then the Eighth Era doing business with NGC and the US Mint to get the 2024 Silver Eagle with the star privy mark. It's unfortunate that only a couple of RU-vidrs have talked about either. Aren't these guys going to the Baltimore show when the 2024 gold flowing hair coin will go on sale there? That will be more epic than can be believed! Will the US Mint director be there to sign COAs? Then after the hype for these coins and the medal, talk about the 2026 coinage with CCAC! O'h yeah, isn't DC Comics and Warner Bros will be doing business with the US Mint! Come on guys do I need to start podcasting too?
I like both of you and trying to give constructive feedback from a loyal listener. Matt always comes across as wanting to rush to end the show and he is so negative about “modern” collectors. A lot of people start out with that and I think trying to capture a newer audience try not to be such a downer
That is the most flawless looking large cent I’ve even seen. It’s so nice that if I saw it anywhere else I’d have assumed it was a modern manufactured fake from China.
The biggest tip-off to scrutinize this coin was the fact that such a high grade key date is sitting in an album as a RAW coin. Most 1914-D’s in higher grades are going to be found certified in PCGS or NGC slabs these days. But, it’s always possible that the album is from an old collection assembled before slabbing began, so this is not proof that the coin is counterfeit - just a red flag 🚩 to the collector that you should examine key dates like this one individually and with proper tools and references handy so that you don’t get taken to the cleaners by the unscrupulous.
I think I've only bought USA mint sets in the last few years, for the women quarter seriess. I doubt I would buy more after the series ends. I have bought USA clad proof sets here and their over the years. I find the packaging/coins in the proof sets pretty good. The only mint/BU set I do buy regularly are the RAM ones. I like their setup. I have not bought a RAM proof set for almost 20 years as they got to expensive. The size of the packaging is also a turn off. You get 30-40 years of them and they start eating up a lot of space.
From day one, the Biden-Harris administration announced it would overhaul every single agency with the ideals of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). It ensured there were DEI bureaucracies in place to impose its agendas regularly.
Was the news brought to you by the squirrels in your pants or just random ones? game: collect the 2 Indian, spend 5, destroy 10. Spend paper, collect vintage, destroy modern coins. Destroy anything that wasn't meant ot exist.. No option on the rest, don't know enough about most of them.
I think it would be cool if they could try and produce some of the classic coins with minting processes similar to period processing. Rehashing the design is cool, but it still looks like boring modern coinage.
@@noobismatic It would be cool but the tech is old and obsolete so there isn’t much of it still around. The only working press from the time of the Morgan silver dollars is the CC Press #1 and it’s on display at the Nevada State Museum.
?¿? question??? Does the US Mint have vintage coin dies in storage? Or do they just scan a existing coin when they want to commemorate a classic?? Thank you for speaking to this!
How could I miss the show ! I wanted to thank you guys for the "Coin Ping Test", it came in the mail this week. To be honest , I had forgotten about it ...and when I saw the box with Aaron Berks name on it I immediately thought someone ordered me an ancient for my 60th birthday that was a couple weeks ago. Well, that wasn't the case of course 😅. I was still happy to get the pinger..but a little let down too 😅😅 I'm sure you guys can maybe relate but definitely understand. Thanks Mike and Matt, I truly appreciate the pinger!!
