Thanks for the shoutout! I see you have the Menards Santa Fe f unit running on the test layout and that’s pretty cool that you have a test layout in your truck. Not every truck driver has any layout like this one right here.
He's a very loving puppy. Only 8 months old .loves people and children. Not a mean bone in his body. Dud I mention he loves to cuddle too. He's a hoot.
Actually the wheels set in these cars came with 3 rail wheels in them. At some point they were modified. However, these were 1950s scratch build s that had o scale parts installed. The problem I found is the trucks hit the steps and that causes derailment. If I had larger curves on the truxk that problem wouldn't happen. For now I'm working around that issue. Can't wait till I can get the full set up and running properly.
Oh the thinner wheels set do fine on the lionel fastrack. Well other than switches. Atlas track does well too. Tubular it has issues. Then again change the wheel sets, it goes away other than a minor spacing has to be done.
You know brother that run I had to stop and look at time and when I started. Man, it blew me away. That menards diesel just keeps going. Can't wait to bring Queen Elizabeth back to the rails.

You know brother I was thinking about that for a next video. I drive a kenworth t660. Great truck. I have surely put some miles o. The ole girl. She still runs great with almost 1 million miles on her. I really want to put a train running the whole length of the 53ft flat bed trailer. Something I'm going to try and accomplish for the great American truck show next year. That should be a hoot.

Hey thanks for being here. I didn't think anyone else had done it before either. I say bring your hobbies with you. I find enjoyment while on the road doing this. It helps to keep my mind sharp and always thinking of my next step or next project. Driving a semi can be rewarding. Finding ways to deal with the stress is very important. No wonder you are such a good model builder. You built trains for real. Yea you mentioned being a Chaplin, sometimes trains will cause the pope to cuss, the beauty of o gauge trains, they don't really need to run to enjoy them.
We built museum quality g scale trains. Before dad and his business partner closed the doors. I understand that the son Joe Allen has started back some production stuff now. Thank you so much bud for your support and comments. Means the world to me.
Thank you. It's just takes time and new approach for every single one of them. Using historical photos helps but does give some play room. I'm going to look into buying another Menards f unit to repaint for the excursion train. 22 scale cars.....going to be a long one. Thank you buddy. Great having you here and hanging out.

Thank you bud.,again welcome to the channel. The menards f7 has been a joy to mess with .so far reliable. Weight oh yes and can they pull. Dave Gryffyn did a test with his. 21 cars first time. Then on a 2nd it was a lot more. Menards just released the f7 in the Chicago and North Western paint. In a powered and non powered. Price great on them.

So true Dave. It's been a great locomotive. Looking forward to purchasing a few more for my boys. Even if I purchase 2 more myself just to repaint....I. happy with that. Besides the excursion train needs a unique locomotive.
