Thank you for another fun video! It was good to see what you found at the thrift shops. Rescuers down under, I’ve never heard of. But I live down under, in Melbourne Australia 😊 I really enjoy your videos! ❤
Never tried thrift stores. $4 for a 500 pieces. It's a bit of a gamble. What is your experience so far? I had missing pieces twice this year in brand new sealed puzzles so...
So far so good. I usually have pretty good luck. Missing pieces in a brand new puzzle is one I haven’t dealt with yet. I’ve just started buying new puzzles this year though so I’m sure it can happen. That’s crazy you’ve had it that many times already? Did the company have a missing piece policy?
@@JigsawJohnie Interesting I’m pretty sure ravensburger has a missing piece policy so you can get that taken care of. I’m not sure about Buffalo games I will check and see.
@@JigsawJohnie It looks like Buffalo is trying to have a missing piece policy there seems to be a form you can fill out. It doesn’t seem to be as straight forward. Might be a good thing to make a video on both and your experience with it??
Wow that winter cabin looks hard. They had a lot of cute puzzles. My Goodwill never has many puzzles. I find them at Savers. I want the horse. They had several I like. That is the price theseb days at thrift stores. I am getting tired of missing pieces. 😊💖
You have a really nice haul. The Dowdle puzzle looks like a lot of fun. I like the images on the Jane Wooster Scott puzzles. I also enjoy Charles Wysocki. Always enjoy seeing your pup. Rescuers.
Ceaco is pronounced "See Ko". Jane Wooster Scott reminds me of Charles Wysocki images and I love them all! I worked Painted Lady by Joseph Holodook and really enjoyed it 🙂 Rescuers looks like it will be fun!
Nice haul, thanks for sharing. I do love a thrifted puzzle, but I never buy them if they are loose in the box. I did chuckle at you saying it was expensive because as you said it I was thinking your thrift stores are so much cheaper than here. Your thrift stores are enormous, I feel like visiting America again just to visit some. 😁. Ive got a Jane Wooster Scott puzzle to do. Her images are nice aren’t they? Also love a Dowdle, both are a bit more difficult to find in the U.K. Also never apologise for life getting in the way. It happens. I had a RESCUER mini film as a child. Ha, showing my age a bit now. 😊
Oh that’s too funny! They love to slap a $3.99 on every puzzle no matter the condition or piece count and it drives me crazy. Guess I will be more thankful for them still being less expensive. I’ve not done one of hers unless I did one growing up. That’s fantastic! Excellent job and age is just a number 😉🧩
Yay great job! That makes sense. Well you can come along with me in video form, and also let me know if I should keep an eye out for anything specific for you when I’m thrifting for puzzles.
Karen Puzzles just did a video with a whole bunch of Jane Wooster Scott cork Ceaco puzzles she just bought.. She was super excited about them, so I think you may have scored getting that one!
@RockyMountainPuzzler it is extremely hard to find puzzles here at any of the thrift stores. I do watch for deals on Amazon, puzzle company sales, puzzle store sales. With shipping costs right now unless I'm looking for a specific puzzle that is out of print it's often cheaper to purchase new than purchase used and have it shipped.
Hey Girl, Be careful with using music for your videos. Because some sites say free non copyrighted, they are not when you read the fine print! Good job & Thanks for sharing my friend. 😊👍❤️
Thank you for the heads up. So far I have just been using whatever is free on iMovie and RU-vid copyright free music. Have a wonderful day puzzle friend 🧩
Hi. I have four puzzles from New York Puzzle Company, three were sent to me by my friend Hope. The other two are Vogue magazine puzzles from decades ago and should be quite the challenge.
Hey Girl, That’s a cute one. Yes I love color in a puzzle. Sorting is so fun. lol. I love the colors in the dolphin puzzle and that wooden puzzle. Stitch is cute. I saw the statue of liberty, but I said nope. lol. Good luck with that one my friend. I’m super slow lol. Nice to see you. Yes trying to test your speed would be fun to try. I have no idea. Good haul. TFS & 👍😊
@@TheSlowPuzzler Thank you, I’m just curious and want to find out it will probably be a disaster but at least I will have my puzzle friends with me as I try 😉🧩
Hey no problem puzzle friend! Come along and enjoy with me, most of my life I have done thrifted, gifted or free puzzles 🧩 It’s been exciting to try all these new brands and experience them. Welcome to my channel 💚
I love your creative car studio. You might be able to run the air conditioning without the engine which would help. Filming while your clothing dries is a perfect multitask.
Done come in a little red riding hood it’s a tough one and good luck on it and love the puzzle haul I have a question are you planning on watching the world jigsaw championship 2024 here on RU-vid
Thank you so much for watching. I have a feeling speed puzzling is not going to be something I do much but I have to try it. I love Judy Garland just not that particular movie, glad to know I’m not alone.
@@RockyMountainPuzzler I have only tried a speed puzzle once and after 5 minutes my back was absolutely killing me! It was the Ravensburger New York Postcard and I did awful. I have the London and Paris postcard that I will try someday. I’m not sure it will ever be my thing either! 💕
What a nice haul. I like Dean McAdam images. I’ve got the Everybody is mad here one to do. Wooden puzzles are really fun. We have Wentworth ones here. I love their whimsy’s.
@@50sRockChick Thank you! Oh I have done that one it’s a fun one, surprisingly for me the flowers at the top Were the hardest, I thought it was going to be the tree but nope. The wooden ones look so fun I can’t wait to try them out. Have a wonderful day puzzle friend 🧩
I have all the Dean McAdams puzzles. I really admire him as an artist. I can’t wait to see you do the Goldilocks puzzle especially, because it is so super cute! Haul-great puzzle haul!!!
Good little haul there. I've done the Goldilocks Gets Caught one and Hansel & Gretel was the other one that I did. There are 18 Circle of Colors puzzles but I don't know if that's it or whether Ravensburger will produce any more of those. I haven't done any Ravensburger wooden puzzles but I have done Wentworth ones in the past. They tend to be expensive for the number of pieces that you get. The only speed puzzling I do is when there is a BOTYP on. I do time ⏲puzzles but don't wish to do them super fast 🏎, just to see how long the puzzle takes. Are you going to watch Worlds which is coming up soon?
Oh thank you that is Good to know! I knew about wentworth and liberty wooden puzzles but have not tried them. Due to their price tag for sure. I am planning on watching worlds I watched last year as well. Wish I knew how to do a watch party I think it would be fun.
I think it's great that you want to try speed puzzling for the first time.😊👍🏻But I'm even more grateful you don't want to make your channel into a speed puzzling channel 🙌🏻😩🙏🏻!
@@yourpuzzlemom Ha ha I’m afraid when I try it I will hate it but at least I will Know for sure. I would still love to go watch everyone compete and interview people and stuff.
@@RockyMountainPuzzler Yeah, I agree! I tried it once and the only thing I was happy about was the fact that it didn't take as long as it usually would and I could go to bed a little earlier. Other than that: absolute stress 😬!
I'm not much of a Wizard of Oz fan either (except for Toto, who doesn't like a little brown dog?). Looking forward to a review of the Ravensburger wooden puzzle. Nice haul.
