I like a little wilder bushier look so I used kind of an abbreviated version of what was shown here and it turned out pretty good. This helped me a lot because I have always kept a buzzcut and never bothered to try for a big beard before. I have a pretty epic beard now but my sideburns were way too crazy. Just keeping it combed out and shaping my neckline with a little finger sized buzzer wasn't enough anymore. My Dad couldn't really teach me because he cant grow a good beard. This was perfect.
Glad we could help, brother! We are always here to support you however we can! Everyone enjoys their beard a little differently and we are here for that! Check out our blog post which has a bunch more great videos on helping you maintain and trim a glorious beard. livebearded.com/blogs/do-better

@@livebearded When I was deployed everyone had a beard and I couldn’t get into it. Somehow my beard would get caught near the butt stock and the buffer tube. Somehow it slide inside there, It would pinch the shit out of me. After a few times it puling on my beard, I kept it under half inch. Even now I’m retired, it’s 1/4 inch or shaved….thats what she said!
First beard in 42 years; it looks different but good. 🧔♂ How do I trim the top? I think a straight line would look stupid but I’ve no drawing/artistic skills.
You're gonna start nailing the measurements as you go bro, don't worry! Take your time with trimming and don't take off too much at a time to avoid messing it up. You got this brother! 🤝
My comment on another content creators channel >. Received today. Unpackaged the products and took a quick whiff of the balm. Reminded me of a tropical cream ice cream. Hints of Mango and Pineapple dominate with a touch of coconut cream. Just took a shower and used the wash, conditioner and then applied a dab of balm. Man o Man the scent is stellar. Love it. Can’t wait until my wife snuggles up and starts questioning me. After all, this is a first time wear!. One thing I do have to say about Live Bearded and all the sample products I have tried so far, their conditioner is stellar. Currently my ‘go-to’ products are Honest Amish and Duke Cannon but Live Bearded may take that place once I use up some other products. I really enjoy the “American” scent as well.
Truthfully I wouldn't know anything about this company if it weren't for the fact that your products are absolute top-notch. Happy that being said, I truly appreciate the positivity. That really means a lot.
I have a short beard, closer to the Travis Kelce style. I occasionally get dry skin/beardruff, should I just use basic facial moisturizer in/on it or should I use a beard oil specific for it?
Im real close to where you're at and my main problem is the left side of my moustache wants to point down unless i style it with wax for half an hour. Any tips?
Not sure whether to focus more on beard growth or just trying to find the best way to style it at this point. I don't want a long beard, just a "thicker" beard- I tend to keep mine closer to the face but wouldn't mind growing it out a tad longer. If I grow it out too long it just become unruly and makes me look like a wild man. I like how yours stays stright and groomed.... no amount of brushing seems to keep mine flat once it reaches a certain length, so I tend to trim it down to about 5-7mm with my trimmer. My problem then is that, I wouldn't say I'm super patchy, but you can just kinda see through my beard to my cheeks. Hard to describe, in person it seems fine, but in pictures my cheeks show through and I just want it more dense. Any help would be appreciated. Also, not sure if youtube is the best place for this haha if there is a better forum to chat let me know
Worked perfectly for me, i guess i will use this routine from now on hahaha. I have a question though, what else can i use if i don't have beard oil? I heard coconut oil works as well but i'm not sure if it does. Thanks
