The mouthguard keeps moving forward and it seems as if the screws don't even work. After requesting a new one within the warranty time frame the next one that replaced it is currently doing the same thing
Doesn't work that way and you don't know what you are talking about. Sleep apnea is caused by a obstruction in your airway. You can be fat ,skinny, muscular, and pumped with roids and you can still get sleep apnea. Here is the alternatives to A CPAP machine. Mouth pieces which are 90 percent effective for mild sleep apnea and 50 percent, and surgery which removes the problem entirely. No amount of weight loss is gonna solve sleep apnea it may reduce the symptoms however not the cause. Being fat doesn't help but not all people can lose weight due to genetics or injury. Also you have to be well over 300 pounds to actually have a problem. Men that have fat on their stomach and not really anywhere else it really doesn't affect the throat. The problem is the throat nothing else. I myself am getting tested for sleep apnea because I am struggling to sleep but if I do have it. It is most likely mild because I doubt snore or stop breathing. I am a shallow breather which affects my oxygen when I sleep. I lost a lot of weight and can certainly tell you it didn't do anything. I have a very large neck do to genetic and training it was measured at 21 inches. Even a muscular neck can cause a bit of obstruction however my neck has always been large.
Four years ago I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I used a CPAP and worked on losing weight. Female, age 59, weight 243. About nine months later I had lost 90 pounds and the sleep apnea was gone, according to the data send to the doctor by the machine. In the past year, I gained 70 pounds back and the apnea is back. I just started the diet again.
I've got it bad and would give anything to just sleep comfortably through the night Seriously and I've one of the best c pap machines and it's so impossible to use...thanks for your comments
