i will be in canyon land in may. i only have enough time to ride down 211 in the needles district or 313. i know that both will be pretty but which one gives you the most scenery from the seat of the motorcycle.
I can tell by camera angles that you're on a bike in this video.... And now that I own a bike since last year,, I have been looking for areas that like this to drive-in..... So thank you for posting this video for people like me.... And I live in Eastern Wyoming.... And please forgive me for this comment... But the bluegrass music is almost too much. I personally just don't like blue grass......
I'm Kake from Bootsandjeansriders We rode going to the sun road 2019 and it was/is stunning, the views, the waterfalls, and the wildlife we saw a bear & mountain goats they were beautiful. We even played in the waterfalls and just relaxed in awwww about the views. Its amist do again for us. You sound like to people in the videos at the visitors center. Great video thanks for sharing.
Beautiful video. Thanks! And your enunciation is excellent. Finally, someone who can pronounce English. (I teach singing.) And the music is unobtrusive and works well.
I rolled all the boulders off all the cliffs surrounding the island in the sky campground up to about around "the neck" part of the road on the drive in there. I spent all day every day out at the cliffs with my friend & my bro rollin boulders. 1 day I was at the cliffs that were like 2 miles away from the campground (up over those big rocks north of the campground in plain sight) ALL day ignoring my thirst for like 3 or 4 hours (it was hot & sunny out) & then finally I realized I was in the red zone on water quench. When I got back to the campground I felt sick & didn't drink water right away. Every day after that I brought water with me out there to the cliffs.
Love your videos. I see that they are several years old now. Just wondering if you still ride, and are exploring. Would love to see more videos like yours produced.
Thanks Dennis, I had pretty severe back disease with 8 surgeries and counting. I sold the bikes and wend on healing sabattical. Back to riding now but these videos (to be done right) take a lot of work and time I dont have anymore. I loved doing them and may again some day. Thanks for your comment.
I hope you are still riding! I live in New Mexico. It is a fantastic place to ride. There is so much beautiful stuff to look at and hardly any one hits the roads to check it out.
Used to do this for work every day.... granted I was in a semi truck. Always wanted to hit those curves something faster and sporty, get some trail braking going on and really have some fun.
I took a road trip this spring from Minnesota to Nevada, and made it a point to spend a day driving through Colorado. Fortunately, I stumbled across this road. It was the best drive of the whole trip, really wish I had a dash cam for that one!
