@@balancemusicofficial I don't think "perfect proggy" exists anymore. There's a rawness and higher tempo sound going on with the younger generation...i was hoping that might bleed through into the prog scene (as it should do). Instead we're still rolling with this deep progressive sound that i was tired of almost 10 years a go. Personally, i think the sound needs to evolve and move on. We had the epic / bumping 90s prog, the trancier side in the late 90s, the minimal / tribal variant of the early 00s...and the techy / electro infusion of the mid/late 00s - all good eras for prog.
