The panel overlay would look nifty. But, it seems to be about 3 mm thick. I doubt you'd be able to seat your slider knobs back on fully, unless you glued them.

I have been using mx100, mx180, mx180mk2, cx1100, mx180mk3 since 1989~ i have pioneer djm 500,600 but they are just stored in a drawer as spares.... The Rodec mixer is truly the best analog sound and controllability and a cool rack-type design It is definitely different from the digital sound of the Japanese microwave oven, such as Pioneer Unfortunately, as with anything, good quality items that are enthusiastic are not popular and disappear Even now, there are many people around the world who are looking for Rodec and it is very difficult to find a Rodek in good condition In particular, the mx180mk3, which was last imported to Korea, is truly the best mixer.
between us, in my band, we have four, & an sh2000, & a 3a. the sh1000 was the synth we used on our first release, back in 1979-80. that one was borrowed, but that didn't stop me adding an external input.... later, on one of our own, I discovered that by removing one wire (the interlock between the presets & the addtive manual sections) you can get the presets to run through some of the panel controls, & thus alter them. cv/gate can be a bit tricky if the internal oscillator won't track, but it can be done. much easier on the sh2000 which uses a 555 as its master oscillator, running it at a high frequency & dividing down for the sake of stability. but yeah, the sh1000 is a historical synth, & many bands used them as a cheap & flexible alternative to the mini. what surprises me is that there weren't third-part modifications to the presets to make them more useful to customers. damn fine synth, though.

Hallo, mich interessiert op das gerät vollständig bedienbar ist ohne computer da ich lediglich einen Mac mini m1 besitze und es sehr wahrscheinlich keine Treiber oder Editoren gibt. über eine Antwort, egal von wem, würde ich mich sehr freuen da multitimbralität nicht mehr oft vorkommt und die Atmosphäre die dieses gerät ausstrahlt wirklich sehr schön ist
Have just discovered a module that adds ratcheting and other features to the 182 sequencer. Ive just ordered it in kit form (no SMT). But you can buy it ready assembled. Search for GP-82 ('Maikshift Modular' in Australia)
Can you connect the RCA output of a television to the sub and use the rca outputs of the sub to connect the monitors? Looking into this set for my living room. Thanks a lot for your review. Great video!
As a Sub37 user I figured the 25 was just a cutdown, lesser version..now I have both and realised they’re actually very different. They sound different, inspire differently, have differing user cases and compliment each other and other synths brilliantly...proper modern classics really!
I HAVE A HISTORICAL QUESTION ; does anyone know who, witch company(s) provided drum machine manufacturers like lynn, oberheim, or sci, and simmons (mtx9 and you're packed), with those classic sounds some of them share in theyre list. i mean alot of those sound are used in several units, i'm pretty shure someone specialised in recording and digitalising (Ulaw) drum sounds at the time was providing several compagnys with those drum codes to burn on eproms, but who? Ithink but i'm not shure, i mght remember reading somewhere that this ward Clavia's first activity, but i'm having trouble to find my info, and google has became useless for these types of reaserchs since a few years anyway....

This tutorial ran through things in a way that I finally understood, I have had RPE2 for about 6 months but didn't really know how to used a lot of the functions. Now I think I know 99%.
Thanks for this review, made me bought this plugin. Bad thing is that RPE2 does not respond to MIDI notes for transposing the patterns. It's very tedious to change the pitch of the patterns with automation lanes. Or I am missing somethig but I haven't found it ;)
There is zero comparison. UAD is clearly a digital recreation and however good it is it doesn’t come close to the analogue Model D. If you can’t hear it, you’re not listening. I have an original Moog, a model D, and several software emulations from Artuia, softube, G-Force, NI. They’re okay, but they just don’t capture the analogue sound.
It is not available in the public domain. First register your Sub25 in your moogmusic.com account and it appears in the support section for that instrument.
Korg should make a synth that will include the Modwave, the Opsix and the Wavestate, all under one hood. That's the only way they will gain back my respect.
Just bought mine and love it. The sound is so good and rich that even playing boring stuff on it will sound interesting. It's not cheap, but for the price you really get an excellent synth which will be considered a classic in the future.
The Z1 and/or the KARMA with an EXB-MOSD is interesting, but I wonder whether the expense (easily around €/$/£1000) would be justified, when I already have an AN1x, EX5, Micro Q (rack) and Virus C (rack), apart from other stuff. What I like most about the KARMA is that it's red. 🙂
