I created ALL (but one) of the characters in this show. TRIVIA: That one other voice (of the British Captain) was that of owner Steve Wynn. I also played Mr. Smythe for the first few months along with the movie of the week.

This is so dumb. Animals need care and not left at home alone all day in a garage. The minute you start forcing licenses and registrations The price goes up and only the wealthy people can have their dogs looked after…PERIOD! I’m sure it was just an accident for the poor dog to die.

I worked at Aunt Fanny's Cabin in the early 80s when George "Pongo" Poole owned the restaurant. It didn't appear to me that the restaurant was racist at all. I was one of the few white kids to work there in the kitchen, sometimes prepping cornbread, biscuits, frying steaks, or doing dished. Only the chefs could fry the chicken though. Mr. Willie Ed Johnson kept me busy. I loved all of my coworkers there, most of whom were not white. Nobody seemed to have any objections to working there. I have many fond memories of the whole staff that worked there. IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK! When graduated high school, I joined the navy, but I often returned to see the people I worked until it closed. I hope the new owners use Aunt Fanny's Cabin open an new restaurant to keep the legend of Aunt Fanny alive! Instead of race-baiting, why not find the people who actually worked there and let them tell the true story?
Loved when the guy said hard to stand on red carpet & not cry. It was impossible watching this on utube to not cry. Had to stop it a couple times to get a grip & not miss anything. Several tissues were involved. What a glorious story & photos of this amazing couple, as well as the outpouring of volunteers. Wish I had been there to help. Awesome….just awesome!
